This plant is re vegging, hence your baby buds at week 5 and single blades.
is the revegg currently ongoing or already finished? because usually when they reveg they don't appear so strong in leaf because of the hormon fuckup but right after revegg, as say in a monster-cropping, they stand quite strong. Maybe because of this the canopy is also so dense because you need 4 wekks for maturity + 2-3 revegging.

Sorry but light stress won’t make your plant throw single blades.
what else than light could be the cause of this?

turns out the brainiac master grower isn’t so brainiac or master after all eh?
no he's very clever because he's a riddler, these always think around the corner in advance... xD

A stall is probably the easiest thing to fix in DWC. That is if you've been feeding and checking your plants daily. This occurred when I spent more time on that uni assignment than intended. After a res change from nutes being locked out for two days the plants are back to normal consumption but in the past 24hrs 8 plants have gone through 8 gallons of solution. That's double to normal, however I believe it was more due to a bit of a catch up by the plant. It could also be that it's just entering the real bulking phase now. Which would make sense as the middle canopy is growing at the same rate as the top if not more. After this week is over they will be double in volume.IMG_20200412_200201.jpgIMG_20200411_181718.jpgIMG_20200412_194950.jpgIMG_20200412_195353.jpgIMG_20200412_180446.jpgIMG_20200412_180456.jpg

I defoliated for the last 4-5 grows at 3 weeks.
I then watched the Kyle Kushman video on defoliation and Cannabis Chiropractory (something like that).

I now realize I didn't have a clue as to why or what I was doing.... After watching the video now it all makes sense. I now do it the day I flip and it should be called de-budding/ cola selection, not defoliation.
He needs to find a better word the “chiropractic” if he wants anyone to take him seriously. I haven’t watched the video yet, and I will, but using a term that is commonly known as pseudoscience isn’t going to help his credit...especially when it’s used while discussing plants, since they completely lack both a skeletal and muscular system.

I think his "Chiropractic" reference is due to the cracking sound the plants make when he twists. To be truthful it's the first part of the video regarding his defoliation/de-budding I found most informative.

OP, we do look at other people’s work for comparisons, and I myself can often be convinced to change what I am doing if an idea sounds plausible ,at least for a run to see the proof for MYSELF.
What is the strain you are running again?
1.) You have espoused technical info from others and I understand you testing them out. But to be honest they are effecting your plants in a negative way. First you are saying that the plants need no defoliation or pruning that they naturally shed their lower leafs. This is exactly why you are having environment problems and have to leave your tent open. The airflow sucks, if you trimmed the bottom third from those Hippy girly bois they could live closer together in harmony and not choke off your “danger zone”. You are correct those leafs provide photosynthesis for the buds. But they are wasting energy that could be used for growing TOPS instead of all that Larfy crap in the middle, it will be airy popcorn buds at best from top third down.

2.) You are pumping them full of calcium to make resistant to white bud mold. Well I say they are well on their way to getting mold if you don’t learn to control your space with proper air flow and dehumidification. They stalled because they have no room or oxygen, being pumped full of Calcium and I don’t care if you have 100 bud sights per plant in your three tier SCROG ( not really how it’s done).i look forward to see how resistant to the mold they are. That’s if they create a proper bud to get mold on.

You guys should give up on the idea my plants are going to get mould. This is end of week 8 on my last grow, the non defolled side. Mould ain't gonna happen on this one. You know when it could actually happen though?

In drying. I was so disgusted with this grow I wanted to throw it out. Instead I just did a really sloppy job on drying and trimming. I let them hang like that cause I couldn't be fucked for such a shit harvest. Unlike my first one, which I was pretty proud of and dried properly. I lost three of my biggest buds to mould that were dried side by side, a miracle I didn't lose more really...was an ounce in total. I was pretty happy to have chopped that grow early. It was garbage but it still taught me everything I needed to know for this grow which I'm happy with. I actually do plan to defol this grow though completely....Probably at around 66 days.

Do you defol before you smoke? Or leave the leaves for that as well? :wall:

You chopped early again? This part you have mastered.
But that's the thing you seem unable to get through that thick head of yours, which If launched into space would destroy another celestial object because of the sheer denseness of it. I can harvest this grow anytime I want :) You guys have a long 45+ days ahead of you haha. I lost count...My plants have at least 5 weeks left. How fucking embarrassing it will be for you guys when I get to week 10 of flower.

LMFAO I’ll be harvesting these in two days then. A plant has a life cycle, by making it bushier you in no way compress the days to finish in flower. Please go cut a bud and show us you amber and cloudy trichromes. And by the way we try and avoid “drying our weed. I prefer a 14 day cure down to stable 60%RU in my jars.

Wait wait wait

You're saying on here right now that you’re “style” of growing is allowing you to harvest early?

@bk78 you never told me that! He can harvest whenever he wants. What a huge benefit to that style.

He would have to zoom in on the few trich. on the leaves, considering they're non-existent on the calyx.
