If you're using beneficial bacteria, it might not be possible for you on this grow but you might want to consider eventually running a sterile system using doses of hydrogen peroxide or something similar (bleach, pool shock, Hydroguard etc) ..Here's a few threads that might help make things a little clearer.
Is changing res water in dwc really necessary?
Theoretically, if you're keeping the water clean and roots healthy, couldn't you just keep adding fresh water to the res? ...along with nutes and (hydroguard) ... maintaining desired ph and ppm. For how much the plants drink later in their lifespan, it seems to me the water would be...

I listened to a podcast that did experiments with cutting the leaves on clones, and they concluded that not cutting the leaves produced better faster clones. I tried recently. I found that the temp, humidity, and medium played a bigger role in the speed of rooting.

I experimented a little with this and the biggest things I found was just how quickly they seemed to bounce back from drooping with the clipping. I was worried about killing them as it was my first time. The clones I left with full leaves drooped for much longer than ones that were clipped but I didn't lose any of the clones either way. I did clip burn spots as it became evident. If they root faster it must be because they need to, to support the remaining growth. It makes sense.

I've only been running GH flora series, cal/mag, and hydroguard. Does this qualify as a sterile system? Isn't the Hydroguard considered Beneficial bacteria?

You're right. Hydroguard is bacteria and I shouldn't have lumped it together with pool shock and bleach in my previous post.

The one NL top is still struggling with root rot. Everyone else looks great. Hit it with a strong dose of hydroguard again tonight, about 20-30ml. I ended up moving it into the flower tent to see what a non topped plant looks like. I don't expect much but need the space in the veg tent. I need to split my smaller plants away from that GG. I went through and topped the ones remaining in veg. Photos of that clip will be shown tomorrow.

Almost forgot to post the daily pics. Took the bandage off of the GG just to to hear "snap" while working with the LA. It was a mid branch break and was able to tape it up quickly. I have high hopes it will fix itself. Just might stunt that branch a bit.

Missed last night. Had to take the Mrs to the ER. Her pancreas was flared up all week and couldn't get any relief. Here we are again though.

Thank you and yes, they sent her home several hours later. It's safer for her at home having stage4 cancer. They ran her through a bunch of tests due to coronavirus though, just in case. They got her some iv meds and she's good again. Still fighting the fight.

I'm not sure what she's doing for cancer treatment but, if I can make a suggestion, ozone therapy is supposed to produce really good results. Despite what the attached article says, a decent enough ozone generator can be had for about $70. If you have any questions, feel free to ask me and I'll do my best to answer.

For $70, I think it's worth a try. I honestly think it's a great idea. I've tried every homeopathic treatment I can find to keep her around as long as possible. We are both 35yrs old. Found out she had stage 4 neuroendocrine pancreatic cancer, 2 weeks after getting married in 2011. It's been a hell of a ride. Docs swear it's her dedication to marijuana that has allowed her to live so long. She has already outlived their best estimates., Even after being given 2 weeks to live, emergency 12hr surgery and then told 3-5yrs. It's been 8. She helped get marijuana passed here in IL. MMP put us in a hotel and everything just so she could go speak in front of our state government about her journey. She's the reason I get to grow. We've bonded over marijuana over the years. She's kinda small and doesn't take well to most treatments... It makes it hard for her to take much else besides her normal meds. This ozone should help... Especiall,y since we finally got her to quit smoking cigarettes this year. Wish she would have done that years ago.

Man, my heart goes out to both of you. I really hope that the ozone can provide some relief as well as longevity. The machine that I use is made by A2Z Ozone and it's called the Aqua 6 but it's currently unavailable on their site and Amazon as well. I think that might be because they're phasing that model out and replacing it with a larger model called the Aqua 8 which is $30 more. If you do a search here on RiU for posts by me regarding ozone you'll see that these machines are well worth their money because they can do a lot more than make ozonated water. I don't work for the company or anything. I've just had great luck with the unit that I've been using and I'm happy to tell anyone that might have a need. As we have hit the 7 day mark for flower. I have decided after some reading to let my buckets ride another week before full change and scrub. The root rot appears to be back under control (fully) for the time being and the plants, tooting my own horn, I think look really nice. They smell great and there isn't even any bud yet. They each have their own distinct aromas and I love the minor difference in leaves. I can't wait for the real action to begin.
Tonight I figured, mix it up and take some pics looking at more of the structure. I can always hit top photos again tomorrow. The extra NL has a small hole between her legs. I think it's kinda cool.

O boy, yeah I love this stuff. Super, super soft and yet still holds its rigidity. Best 3 bucks I ever spent. I was using bread ties beforehand but it only took one pinching incident to say screw that. I use a large pair of snips and clip it as needed. It's all reusable. Can't sing it's praises enough. It looks so much more firm than it is but it holds its bends tremendously well.
