Honestly my best grow with the best yield was my first photoperiod grow. My first defoliation and i was afraid to mess it up so i did less.
He already harvested all the defol bud complaining the plants were too small. I guess harvesting early is a good way to prove defol does produce smaller buds and plants. His science just proved it.Doubt you’ll wait until week 10. You’ll either have mold or harvest early like you’ve always done.
thanks that was a good view. What do you think will he have to use a net to stabilize the colas? This is a link to the video (hope it is allowed) it has totally changed my way of thinking, beforehand I was simply pulling leaves off at 3 weeks into flower because I had read on the internet it was the thing to do.
tbh Id like to know the exact chemical name of the compound that is able to being absorbed by roots and delivering Si. Because that is contained in mineralic form as sand, quarz but it seems like from there is being washed out by oxygen rendering it slightly acidic.Depends on how heavy your colas are mate or if you have used enough calcium and silica. Following that I do not think all silica supplements are equal. I have just changed to Yellow Bottle Silica and noticed a huge difference for the better, I was using Buddhas Tree and to be truthful I don't think it worked as well, not knocking the company or product I just found the Bloom brand to be better. I know the Buddhas Tree is a different type of silica that doesn't raise the PH at all, that's what first attracted me to it but in my case as mentioned I don't think it worked as well.
Please tell me you aren’t drying your flower in the same tent that has growing plants with lights going. You guys should give up on the idea my plants are going to get mould. This is end of week 8 on my last grow, the non defolled side. Mould ain't gonna happen on this one. You know when it could actually happen though?
In drying. I was so disgusted with this grow I wanted to throw it out. Instead I just did a really sloppy job on drying and trimming. I let them hang like that cause I couldn't be fucked for such a shit harvest. Unlike my first one, which I was pretty proud of and dried properly. I lost three of my biggest buds to mould that were dried side by side, a miracle I didn't lose more really...was an ounce in total. I was pretty happy to have chopped that grow early. It was garbage but it still taught me everything I needed to know for this grow which I'm happy with. I actually do plan to defol this grow though completely....Probably at around 66 days.

He can do that because of all the extra calcium he was giving them while growing. Please tell me you aren’t drying your flower in the same tent that has growing plants with lights going.

Very happy with how things are progressing. My plants are on track to hit a new personal record in consumption. I'm willing to take it as a negative as I haven't seen them drink more than 8 gallons in 24hrs before. Right now they're on track to easily drinking 9. That's more than a gallon per plant in a rdwc system; may be they're losing a lot through transpiration I dunno. The growth is going well, especially mid canopy where the buds are swelling the most. Not much in the top colas apart from the ones that aren't as tall. However, the taller ones are where the mid section is growing the most. Going to stop showing the inner canopy as I think I've proven my point about how my plants aren't going to get mould during the grow.
Threw in Hermie as I know you guys miss him/her.

god that’s a sick looking crop. I see why you chopped it weeks early now
