Yes, it is. You can try to pinch the nanners off and hope they don't keep showing up, or just get rid of the whole thing (which is what I'd do personally).

Sure is! What are the genetics? With a little more insight I can tell you if the plant will continue to herm over the course of the flower period or if you can just remove the sacks and watch it closely without having to cut it down.

If you still have extra plants just toss it. Anything with cookies in the linage, especially if it is a bag seed, is just asking for more problems down the cycle. Best of luck on your first attempt growing. It only gets better as the days go one. If you have any more questions give me a shout!
