One g/watt requires a really well dialed in environment and a good grower with a lot of experience.thats if you are super success as well. most people will not get 1g per watt
exactly, thats why i was saying most people shouldnt strive for that unless they have done this alot of times. im new myself and am hoping for something even close to that because i know it isnt close to as easy as most people make it soundOne g/watt requires a really well dialed in environment and a good grower with a lot of experience.
OP, 1gram/watt isn't something one is "supposed" to get. It's just something some people strive for is all. It means per watt, not per plant. You could get 1g/w with one plant, or 12, not each plant.
Also, what type of light do you have? If it's an Amazon-purchased LED, it's likely marketed with a much higher wattage than it actually draws from the wall. Finding out the accurate power draw is the first thing you need to do.
I'm sorry. I meant to split up my reply into two parts; one to you, one to OP. I have the mars hydro 2000, it real power is about 290 watts. It says 300 but on youtube I've seem readings in the 280's 290's. I really just wanted to no if 1 light would transfer too both plants yeild wise if the light has good coverage. I'm looking for a 2x2 for autoflowers and going to pair it with the mars hydro 600 that pulls 100 watts. The mars hydro sp150 pulls an extra 35 wattsOne g/watt requires a really well dialed in environment and a good grower with a lot of experience.

I'm a beginner, my plants dont look to bad right now, the most stress they received was when I topped in veg and defoliated alot. ON the package it says 400-500g per/m2. So if my plant hits 4 feet should I really be getting 500grams. My plant is like 4 inches shy of 3 feet 1 week of flower day 8.People still strive for 1g per watt? I expect 2g per watt every run, although not every strain is heavy yielding so the number can vary a lot depending on genetics, environment and skill.fan
The lighting is going to be his issue imo. My last run I grabbed just under a pound off a single plant. Lost her sister 3 weeks into flower or it would have been more. Under a single HLG 320 Rspec.your plants look great, but to expect 500 grams you are really far off im sorry. watch youtube videos of growers who have years of experience and off most plants they will harvest between 170-200 grams off a pretty much PERFECT grow with insane amounts of data.
What happens to you other one? How did you lose it?The lighting is going to be his issue imo. My last run I grabbed just under a pound off a single plant. Lost her sister 3 weeks into flower or it would have been more. Under a single HLG 320 Rspec.
