First grow in coco seedlings going lime/light green growth slowed.

First grow in coco my 12 day old seedlings have started to go lime/light green.
Light - 400mh 16 inches from plant tops
Nutes - canna a and b 1.5ml per litre + 4ml per litre rhizotonic. Calmag added to water for .3ec for my base. Ec is round 1/1.1
Fan - 8 inch
Tent - 1.2m
Temps - 26c and 70% humidity
Run off ec is testing at around .3/.4
Ph - 5.8/6

I know new growth is lighter green but the leaves have still stayed this colour unlike my other plants you can see in the background, under leafs are also wispy

Okay I’ve backed the light off to 22 inches see how they get on, ordered a digital ph meter for more accurate readings as have a feeling that may be the cause of the wavy leaves from what I’ve read online.

Having the pH out will make the leaves really twist, like rams horns.

Also most nutes will self adjust the pH to the correct level when you've added the right amounts.
So unless you have nutes sat around in a Rez for days it's unlikely the pH will swing wildly.

You've said you ordered a pH probe...what have you been using to manage your pH before this? With the little info you've provided and by looking at your pics, I would suspect a pH issue, and I'd be sure of my nutrient concentrations (ie are you feeding enough).

Nutrients, in general, aren't going to self regulate the proper pH...this is your job.

PH too low, or nutrient levels too high.

You're feeding small plants "canna a and b 1.5ml per litre + 4ml per litre rhizotonic" = 5.5gm/l of expensive custom nutrients.
I'm growing large plants with 0.5gm/l of cheap agricultural fertiliser.

What could you be doing wrong?
Apart from wasting a shitload of money.

Coco is easy. Skip the fancy crap. Get some Jacks or Masterblend and calcium nitrate and get growing. 6.0 pH. I use VitaGrow but it's basically the same as what I recommended.

Hi I’ve been using test strips or the tube and universal indicator so not the most accurate of readings, yeah I’m following the canna coco feeding schedule and feeding less than they say on there to stay safe.

Not really a pattern just all of the middle ones (seedlings) are affected by the light growth and wavy lower leaves on some. Suspect it may be ph as I’m using test strips which aren’t the best for accuracy

There is never any need to check runoff if what goes in is what should go in. Like I said, coco is easy. Feed it right and everything works out. Worry about what goes in not what comes out.

Middle is where the light is strongest. I would raise it 6"

Usually when I feed coco I don't test run off unless I suspect salt build up. But when I have it not much lower than what I put in.

like i said you dont need to ph canna coco, you only really need an ec meter. i haven't used one in over 15 years. obviously if you're running dwc or something then you will need one.
