Is this a good light?

Hey I was thinking about buying a 600W Mars hydro grow light for a 2 x 2 tent. Would one of these be enough power to see 1 or 2 autoflowers in 1 gallon pots all the way through to harvest?
I’ve seen good reviews and it seems the best LED in the under £100 range

Idk how close it runs in price but the HLG 100v2 absolutely fucking crushes my 2x2 box. I would recommend that to anyone hands down. Check my journal below for the results lol.

Mars hydro is even better than my viparspectra p1000

Only thing is, mars doesn’t have a dimmer

Specify which mars 600, because the guy below is using a 600 TS which is white based , but mars older lights are also mars 600s and are blue and red.

Its a bit weak for the full 2x2 but you can run it a few inch closer and it should do the job

I’m amazed how the TS performs compare to my 150w and my p1000.


Clones and seedlings: 5,000–7,000 lux that’s like +36”
Vegetative growth: 15,000–50,000 lux 28”
Flowering: 45,000–65,000 lux 16-18”
