I grow in a 2x3, many years of which were under a 150w HPS, and I averaged 2-2.5oz per plant.

2+oz each shouldnt be a problem in this setup if everything else is done correctly.

Good luck brother!

If it changes the weight wouldn’t people selling just skip the cure? Otherwise they’re losing money curing.
Haha yeah man, unfortunately there are folks where I live who still try and avoid the whole drying process just for that reason.
I know guys who've been growing decades and still wouldn't know dry if it slapped them in the face and you cant tell them either.. But now the level of quality is so high they struggle to shift their dirty crap.

Yep.
It might enhance flavour and give a smooth smoke but it doesn't change the weight of the end product.

Do want to elaborate why you think it does?

Lol wow you must be a noob bro it has alot to do with final weight it's pretty simple...

IF YOU DRY IT TO LONG... YOU WILL LOSE ALOT OF WEIGHT... NOW CURING NOT ONLY HOLDS THE RIGHT MOISTURE BUT KEEPS IT THERE IF STORED RIGHT...

get me?

Dry is dry is dry. 22%-25% is what buds weigh dry. At that point its dry, nobody said anything about losses after its dry over time or from different storage methods.

A pint of piss is still a pint of piss no matter how you measure it.

Your tone and attitude amazes me man.

Not my fault you don't understand basic stuff.
You came on giving it "I cant believe nobody is talking about the cure" when the question was to do with weight.
Over dry is fractionally less weight than dry, once its actually dry it loses weight at such a tiny amount in comparison to the weight loss from wet to dry.

So no, curing doesn't change the end dry weight of the product, it just slows the process down and keeps it even. Once your at ideal moisture content or dryness it really doesn't change much, like a few grams on a pound over 10-14 days.

There's a million articles on curing and drying out there, find me one that mentions curing been important to dry weight.

Your a guy who thinks he's been clever and looking like a twat.

Hi all, i'm attempting my first grow and have gave myself the goal of hitting at least 8oz.

Will i make it if i flip?

I understand this depends on so many factors i just want a guideline guess!

Thanks,
you should flip now, all going well you will get between 1.5-2 ounces per plant maybe 2.5 if you leaf defoliate once (top down). (2nd week of flower)

Properly dried bud should be 62% humidity. Properly cured bud should be 62% humidity. Not sure where weight is gained or lost during the curing process?

All the people who claim 1 pound from 1 plant.
You obviously haven't seen the grows @Renfro does. His are way over a # a plant. The best I've done so far is 1/2# per plant. Here's one of his threads.
