The State making ThoughtCrime and SpeechCrime...
soon there will be no crimes, they will just arrest people for "abnormal" behavior.
so it's cool to teach kindergarten child about homosexuality?

That just a bunch of horseshit, schools do not teach about marriage in kindergarten.so it's cool to teach kindergarten child about homosexuality?
Exactly what I did.so it's cool to teach kindergarten child about homosexuality?
I did with my kids. Been telling them since I began their sex education that if they liked boys more than or as much as girls, I would still love them just as much. Naturally led to questions, so I naturally explained to them, there are some people who like to be with someone their own sex more. Pretty simple. And, again, Proposition 8 does NOTHING to affect curriculum (but I've already said that).
One person's opinion on Prop. 8.

back to business....Let's not be naive. Just because it looks like the Western world is about to get its first black intellectual president, just because the nation's most influential and populous state could very possibly decide, finally and forevermore, that two adults of the same gender can get married without the cruel hammer of religious ignorance crashing down upon their heads, well, this can't possibly be a sign that racism and homophobia, two of our three most revered national pastimes (don't forget the sexism!) are going away anytime soon.
It is correct, but he did not say it so much as repeat it. Everything after 'back to business' are the words of someone else. You are CORRECT! But stop saying that.
have you herd the word of our saveur, Jesus Christ??Oh no, not the book!! I always go running from either side of the argument when somebody whips out the BIG BOOK.......
out.
It is correct, but he did not say it so much as repeat it. Everything after 'back to business' are the words of someone else.
Mark Morford wrote it. The entire paragraph was lifted verbatim from Morford's column entitled Hate's last stand.
Hate's last stand / It's racism and homophobia, neck and neck, down to the wire. Can they hang on?
He's good at that, isn't he Johnny? It is correct, but he did not say it so much as repeat it. Everything after 'back to business' are the words of someone else.
You're combining two different events, fdd. One was a kindergarten class taken on a field trip. It was to their female teacher's lesbian wedding. How did they remove those children without prior knowledge and permission from the parents? Where are the complaints from the actual parents?did you click the link?
"........... A Bay Area elementary school got caught in the crossfire of a ballot initiative seeking to outlaw same-sex marriage in California on Tuesday after a kindergarten teacher asked her pupils to sign pledge cards promising not to use anti-gay slurs........."
my son was taught sex-ed in school in the fifth and sixth grade. NOT kindergarten. if one feels to teach them at home at a younger age is one thing.
"................... Produced by the Gay, Lesbian and Straight Education Network, the cards were given to the children as part of Faith Ringgold elementary's commemoration of National Ally Week, an event sponsored by the network and designed to discourage harassment of gay teenagers............."
"..................... School district spokeswoman Val Joyner did not return a telephone call from The Associated Press. But Joyner told The (Hayward) Daily Review that the pledge cards given the kindergartners were meant for students in middle school and beyond. The district plans to review materials used for National Ally Week more carefully in the future, she said. ............."
i can go on, and on, and on.
Plagiarism again, eh? Whoops! It is correct, but he did not say it so much as repeat it. Everything after 'back to business' are the words of someone else.

The other was an instance of a kindergarten teacher mistakenly giving out a card that was developed and intended for older children, in the late grades or junior high grades if I recollect.
It appears that you are essentially regurgitating the commercial you just saw on television, and that you are taking their propaganda and accepting it all as fact.
I can go on and on.
Plagiarism again, eh? Whoops!
Yes indeed, re-reading it I see that's exactly what you did. My apologies.wrong again. i combined nothing. i just quoted from the article. and i have yet to give MY opinion. i'm just throwing things out there. until i come back from the booths i haven't voted on anything.

Maybe I'm mistaken, but, admittedly outside this thread, I still would have bet hard money that you'd already told us exactly how you feel about Prop. 8. Are you saying that your position is malleable at this point?
