That’s hysterical ! I thought the scrog screen were fly traps. Wow, thanks for the help! Very cool suggestions . I’m all ears.
No problem at all. I'm hoping that you go this route so that I can copy the design of your PVC-supported scrog. That’s hysterical ! I thought the scrog screen were fly traps. Wow, thanks for the help! Very cool suggestions . I’m all ears.
Yup , I figured plastic lattice , aesthetically not appealing at all. It’s a curious design and approach though and I thank you for posting the image. I could paint the lattice to make it really tripped out.No problem at all. I'm hoping that you go this route so that I can copy the design of your PVC-supported scrog.
Edit: Now I see what you meant by flytraps. That's a piece of plastic lattice.

I'm an Advanced Nutrients kind of guy. pH problems are a thing of the past.Hey guys, what do you think about the very tip on just about every leaf? Have been running right about 1000ppm flora nova bloom. Ph has been getting a little hard to control, I like to run about 5.8 but it has been dropping to about 5. and ppm has been going up. Knocked it down to 800 last night and today its 850. She is still drinking over a gal/day. Just topped her off with ro water and she's down to about 660 now? Thanks for any insight
If it's at the top only, that looks a lot like light stress or burn.
It's so funny you say that, because as soon as I start used AN pH Perfect trio I had nothing but issues with holding pH and weird smell of old socks coming from the res. Could never figure out the right balance with AN, so I went back to GH Trio again.I'm an Advanced Nutrients kind of guy. pH problems are a thing of the past.
I think I've smelled that old socks smell before but to me it smelled more like corn chips. I figured it must have had something to do with the Carboload. I looked into AN's Perfect pH line for a good long while before finally using it. What I found time and time again was that the people that had the most problems with fluctuations in pH were the people that insisted on checking their pH. The people that never bothered to check never seemed to have any issues with their plants ..myself included. It's so funny you say that, because as soon as I start used AN pH Perfect trio I had nothing but issues with holding pH and weird smell of old socks coming from the res. I swapped to house and garden half the price of canna an prolly a quarter of advanced nutes.I'm an Advanced Nutrients kind of guy. pH problems are a thing of the past.
I would be very interested! Much appreciatedI think I've smelled that old socks smell before but to me it smelled more like corn chips. I figured it must have had something to do with the Carboload. Edit: @THC-CK, I've got a couple of very effective AN feed schedules worked out for DWC. One's for a sterile system and the other with bennies. The sterile schedule requires a lot less AN products and costs a lot less $. Either way, if you're interested I can send you either (or both) for your consideration.
I was wondering what to think about the amount of food to feed her. I was at 400 PPMs and today pulled a sample that read 220 PPMs . That made me think that she wants more food so I drained the res and refilled her with about 600 PPMs . I will see what her response is tomorrow . She looks fine with no nitro deficiency appearance at all but I think only 220 PPMs is kinda low at this stage. I want to beef up her flowers a bit so thought more food might help but maybe not. I will be careful and try to keep the PPMs as low as possible . The less nutrient I add the cleaner she will be and closer to truly pure clean smoke.Hi DAT,
They are in flower. Sativa strains don't need much food at this stage. They will start pulling it from their fan leaves. They are drinking more than they are eating.
I grew a Blue Dream that I fed nothing but P and K and gave it no N. Pale plant with frost for miles.
Cheers,
Mo
Am I crazy to think this is quite low? I know that less is more. I'm running at 800 right now in transition to flower.I was wondering what to think about the amount of food to feed her. Why so low in your case?
I understand the outdoor is different.
