Yes please do!let you know in about an hour
Longer than an hour, got to doing other things, but yes there seems to be light, not real sure how bright. I wasn’t willing to look at it, just took a pic with my phone. Just jimmy rigged something up for the night. Will start taking progress pics, but probably won’t update much unless I see something worth updatingYes please do!
Australia is not legal? guess i'm not going there lol.Guys I wish I could be of more help with respect to data on using these, the issue is we have sold a few and really are waiting on grower feed back on results and the best way to utilise them, my info I am providing, such as it is, is based on what research is out there, and there is not a lot given these are bleeding edge so really looking for user feedback. The data supports increased THC via the UVR8 Protein. The issue is the balance between too much UVB and possible plant damage vs the increased potency and since these leds are relatively new, the advice is judicious/proportional use but we going to need a few runs to test the theory. Im in a non legal country so cant grow and test claims. Cheers
As soon as I turned the fan on it, was just like all the other lights I got from you, heatsink went from barely being able to touch it to "Is this thing on?" Probably doesn't hurt that I kinda oversized all the heatsinks lol!I would have the board well heated and fan running to keep as cool as practical
You run far red full 12 hrs?@welight hows supply looking on your far red strips? I need 2 more of them, i think they have helped a lot, my flowers seem to be maturing much faster than normal. Likely want some other supplemental lighting for the newer tent as well. Looks like the white strips for the new tent have to wait as I will be testing some boards for somebody. Will be interesting to see how they compare to the lights I have in the other tent. Won't have them for about 5 weeks though, but would like ALL of my supplement lights finished before hand.

yeah, full 12 hrs, all other lights 11.5. Pistills were showing up by day 4-5 after switch, and it has been 5 weeks now and they look like week 7You run far red full 12 hrs?
yes, 12 diodes each, but I will be getting all the supplemental lighting together, save on shipping. Open to suggestions on supplementals. I am for sure doing the 2 far reds i have in the other tent.Is

That's very interesting. I've only ever ran them at lights out. I wouldn't feel they'd even be worth running during lights on because they're powered so lightly. It'd get washed out by the main light and be pointless.yeah, full 12 hrs, all other lights 11.5. Not sure how you can wash out a light wave. The wavelength is still there, being absorbed. I do not run them during lights out. Far red in nature still comes from the sun. It is normally absorbed by the plants lower leaves and tells the plant it is in the shade, giving it the signal to grow. Leaves will get larger, but you will also get longer spacing between nodes, totally fine and sometimes beneficial when using ScrOG techniques. Leaving the far red on during daylight is partly what I contribute my fairly even canopy to, because I have not screened them yet. My thought is it tells the lower growth to grow. I mean, this is pretty even for 3 plants in a 5x5...that damn DrGrinspoon maybe not so much, but she is a weird growing strain anyway, guaranteed popcornThat's very interesting. Couldn’t hurt? Well I guess it can hurt the wallet and the life span of the diodes....I guess I could try running them alongside the main lighting, but there's only 12 of the diodes across an entire 4x8 and the whole of them in series is 35 watts, so like 17.5 per 4x4 lol. Just doesn't seem like enough up against the 500 of white and red on each side.
I guess supplementing is about what you wish to try emulate or do with a grow. A drawn out veg whilst scrogging, or fast turn around from clone to finish would call for different lights. Even outdoors daylight is not constant with warmer colours at dawn and dusk (and Autumn/fall).Not sure how you can wash out a light wave. The wavelength is still there, being absorbed.
