Will 1700e gavita lights burn plants in veg?

Been hearing mixed stories of people not having the dimmer and it burning up and other people saying that they are wrong. What are your thoughts on 2.6umols of energy per watt

If it's too much light, your plants will tell you REAL quick. If you don't have the physical dimmer to turn it down, raising the fixture up to a higher position will do the same thing.

Yea I have them up guess I will have to lower it til they are happy

I’m in week 5, I was looking at that light but I checked alibaba I bought one from horticulture close to what your looking at 760, it’s like the growers choice roi780 but better leds

I’m only 3.5 weeks why I am wondering I wanna put up a metal halide 400w and that gavita led side by side and rotate plants between the 2

I vegged with a smaller light out of hydro builder. I’m using mega plus from Horticulture right now

I’m not 100percent yet but I see myself with 2 4x4 one bloom and one veg tent

If you can skip that tent unless you have a way to get the extension above. From past experience tents should be for mother’s since they stunt your ability to yield higher. I like. 10x10x10 rooms they push more yields and get less rot if the room humid and the plants touch the tarps like a greenhouse kinda

I like the tent I can do two plants in each different cycles and harvest every two months.

Update; ran 2.6 umol and 400 wat metal halide at 6’ and been perfect
