Newbie growing

Sup guys.
recently purchased a clone and looking to start my first grow. I’m wondering if my plant is suffering from anything major or if there’s anything I should be on the lookout for. When I first got it I noticed some of the fan leave tips were curling down so I assumed it was a nitrogen toxicity. I’ve been trying to flush out the plant from whatever the previous grower used and I Just recently transplanted it into a bigger pot with coco coir and have been feeding it no nutes with ph’d water to 5.5 for about 2 days. The temp in the room is around 76 degrees Fahrenheit and my humidity is around 50% this is literally my first grow and I’m hoping I can get some helpful advice.

Coco is totally inert man. I destroyed my first grow because of it.. had no idea what I was doing. Gotta our nutrients in it or the plant dies immediately..
For a first grow I would have recommended using a premixed soil, like Fox Farms or something like that. All you gotta do is water it. Gives you a good idea of growing before you hop into giving the plant every thing it needs on your own.
If you want an idea look at my journal I’m only on my second grow now

Thanks for the early replies. I’m realizing more and more how much I’m already fucking up lmao. I wish I joined this forum a lot sooner but let’s hope I can manage to keep her alive and “harvestable” with the help.

Don’t worry! First grows are a learning freaking festival. So many mistakes made and you learn way more that way..
if anyone else agrees, I would take your plant and put it in something else once it seems healthy. Some good soil (NOT MIRACLE GRO). You can order Fox Farms and others on amazon.
Just plant it, add water, and boom kush.

Hey guys I’d figure I keep this post alive and document a little of what’s been going on with the clone. Things still look like shit but, a little less of a shit than before. Obviously, I fucked up big time by not feeding enough calmag when I first got the damn thing. Nonetheless, I am a complete Noob at growing but I’ve been listening to some great advice.
So I transplanted it back into a smaller pot, the next best thing I could find at least, and I’ve been watering every day including cal mag and some micro and bloom nutes from flora. I would love to switch over to ffof considering I’m still a beginner but Shipping would’ve taken forever and now I’m stuck with some coco coir and a bunch of liquid nutes. I’ve been watering till runoff and testing my ph in the runoff as well as testing the water going in Ph of my water before and my runoff have been within 5.8-6.1. I know it’s not the best looking plant in the world, and it still does look like it’s struggling with whatever additional problems, but It’s been about 3 days and things have been looking to get better after a very rough start with this clone. I thought it would be a good day to lst and a couple hours later they started to face up again. So I’m hoping things will go uphill from here on out. As always, any advice on what I should do or if I’m still making some huge mistakes. I would also like to know what should my ec or Ppm be for a plant this big.

You might be overwatering. Take a day off watering and see how they look.

Not sure where you are, but look up gardening stores near you. You might be able to find a good soil mix somewhere.
I just found a hydro store 5 minutes (been there 11 Years) from my house after going to one a half hour away for the last year and a half. It’s a weird warehouse but damn they got everything I need.

Nice, I have one a couple miles away and I'm in the mountains. That's where I got all my FFOF soil along with a lot of other crap. They can even get some stuff for me at a discount from Build a Soil. I'm in CO though, lol.

Man this plant has been through a lot. But so far it’s starting to look happier imo and today I just did a little bit of pruning and readjusting some lst tie downs. Starting to feel like I’m doing things right for once. Luckily I did find a place not too far that sold some ffof but with the way things are looking uphill I’m not sure if I should just go ahead and finish this grow off in coco coir. However for my next grow I’m 100% definitely going to try out soil.

She’s getting bigger you guys. Honestly I think the biggest advice I can give to other beginner growers like myself is to not over think shit and learn to adjust to the different signs a plant can tell you instead of copying and pasting someone else’s grow onto your own. I’ve started keeping things more simple and worrying less and so far things are looking waaay better IMO

I'm a new grower and stupid me bought normal miracle-gro potting soil then after doing research I've found out 95% people have been saying never use MG, first I used old potting soil that my parents had 4 days ago day 1 and 2 was 30°c the 2nd day the leaves started going white so I switched the soil to MG so 2 days ago I planted my seedlings in MG one day was sunny and hot next day which was today it rained on and off lightly, so is it to late to change the MG soil for something different? They are starting to look better in the MG potting soil( btw it's not MG moisture control) but still if it's not to late I'd want to change
