So I’ve had this plant for a while, And I’m trying to correct some problems with her. She’s not the best looking at all

currently she’s been getting:
50% strength ionic grow
Terra for leaves at 50%
in coco professional + 20L pot
Ph 5.8
Under a 600w HPS

she did start flower however was advised to reveg, she has been revegging for 2 weeks

anyone help me sort out what’s wrong wit her plus get her looking better?

How far away is the light? The plant looks quite flimsy and stretched out for growing under a 600 watt HPS.

She’s around 47 inches from light
I actually just changed from a spider farm SF2000 to the HPS today to give abit more temp

she doesn’t seem to be getting any stronger or growing much more.

what kinda airflow have ya got going on? ive had spindly growth like that before, its usually the short one or the one in the corner that isnt catching a breeze. As for reveging, depending how long she was in flower it may take a while for new vegetative growth to start, and it will look a bit funky but thats normal.

That's quite high. Move it lower, about 12 inches per day. If the lamp is air cooled, you can move it within six inches or so of the canopy if desired. If it isn't, move it down to the point where if you put your hand on the top of the tallest plant palm down for 15 seconds, the lamp doesn't make your hand uncomfortable.

In veg, I keep the HID lamp between 8 and 18" above the plants (plants vary in height). In flower, between 8-12" from the top of the tallest plant. I have a 400W MH in veg, and a 1000W HPS in flower. Although both are in glass hoods, neither are connected to my ventilation (hence, they aren't air cooled).

The closer the light, the less stretching for the light the plants go through. Also, if you can swap out the HPS for a MH in veg, that also will reduce stretch.

That's way too far.
Yeah I only put it at such distance as I wasn’t sure how they would react to the light change and God knows they already have enough problems with them!

I will slowly start to move it closer as Spek said, however they are not air cooled.

currently do not have any MH bulbs or the set up for one but will check and try find a good one.

Just a small carbon filter and a rotating fan. She was in flower for around 10 days.

Are there any other ways to help the branches get thicker I’ve seen mentions of bending and stressing the branches causes them to get thicker?

also does anyone know if she’s suffering from any deficiencies?

current temperature is
30 degrees C
Humidity 78%

Before you go buying an MH bulb make sure your ballast can run both MH and HPS. Most of the newer digital ballasts run both. But many older ballasts don't.

Thanks will look into this. See if I can do anything about those weak branches.

About the burnt looking bits on the leaves I’m still unsure what to do about them. There are atleast 10 of such leaves on some of my bigger plants.

can I just take these leaves off and hope new growth will be fine or shall I just leave them?

kind of looks like nutrient burn, but that's just a stab in the dark. I tend to leave any partially damaged leaves, I figure the healthy part of the leaf is still working and if whatever caused the damage comes back id rather it further damaged an already damaged leaf than spread to a healthy leaf. That's just my 2 cents though

Hey thanks for the info, it was possibly nutrient burn from a few weeks ago, since then I’ve dialled the nutrients down each feeding.

I was considering removing all dying/burnt leaves so I could tell whether same problem was persisting.
