Strategies for one female. One plant grow

Will be attempting my first grow pretty soon.

2x2.5 tent with SF-1000 light
Regular northern lights from nirvana

I plan on starting with 3 seeds in solo cups and then transplanting them to 2 gal pots until I can identify a female.

I would then take that female and transplant it to a 5 gal.

Will I have enough room/light to maintain 3 plants in 2 gallon pots?
Any alternative strategies you recommend?

I'd recommend feminized seeds if that's all the room you have, but you can easily fit 3 2 gals in a 2x2.5. I pack 2 15's, 2 3's, and some 1/2 gal in a 2x4 veg tent.

Damn, 15’s.. you must be growing monsters! Yeah I wish I went with feminized but they’re already on their way. They did throw in feminized OG kush but am worried it would stink my place up. From what I’ve read it’s a stinky strain and I live in an apartment in an illegal state. I might just go for it for my first grow to simplify things. I have a cloudline s6 and can filter. Just have to be careful when I open the tent up.
