Autoamtic Techniques for Outdoor Guerilla grow ?

Hello, guys, I am brand new to growing and to this forum, I've been educating myself for the past couple of months and I will be sharing the techniques that I am about to apply.

1. Basics
-I live in Europian Mediterranean climatic zone I have good summer for 3-4 months, relevantly warm nights for 3 months
-I have a frost until the 26 of may in worst year cases. You can check this about all the outdoor agriculture in your country they have pretty good information about this!
-I have ordered 20 autos for my first season (It is a huge project for a first-timer and I don't even wanna mention my 14 female photoperiods ..)

If anyone is interested in the strains just ask I will mention them in a comment (They are all mold resistant, pest resistant strains )

2 Techniques
Germination
- I will be using the paper towel method inside a plastic bag placed between the top layer of my folded duvet cover
#This way I am keeping them in a humid environment with darkness and enough warmth

Transplanting
- Seems that autos are very very delicate in their veg state and I got scared from everything I read about transplanting autos and decided to not, as soon as they sprout around 1 of June by plan I will be planting them straight in the ground. But I will be creating a greenhouse effect by placing transparent plastic bootle top cut on top of them in the soil for the first week after this I will be leaving them with the cap open for 1-2 days to strengthen them and allowing them to get used to the environment and climatize themselves.

Soil and sizing
For this technique, I have ordered a pre-mixed ready soil to be specific Canna Terra Professional I just don't have better options that are with a decent price , we know that autos grow good in a pot between 7-15 Liters (2-5 Galons) any more is optional if u can have it, so i decidet to take a bucket from 11 liter (3Galons) because I cannot invest in buying more and measure with the bucket the hole that I am planning to fill up with my bought soil To ensure my root development I will be bursting the soil around the 11 litter hole and I will be mixing the surrounding soil with dry chicken poop and bat guano so my roots can stretch as much as they like in a good environment without me worrying about the time they will reach past they're bought soil

Feeding
- I won't be feeding them the first week and a half cause of the already available notes in the bought soil just good old Ph water
After a week and a half, I will start feeding them the General Hydroponics Flora series and I will be finishing the flowering stage also with them, I will start with half a dose see the response and work my way up until the end of the veg stage which is about to be in a month and a couple of days after I planted them, I am planning to be feeding them 2- times a week and hopefully water them 2-3 times a week as well. I will be flushing with the recommended GHE schedules


Well, friends, those are my plans about my first grow, I am sharing this so I can see if my view of the season is up to some good , I also hope to give some ideas to all the other newbies such as me and make this thread a useful one

With the autos, I would make sure your planting schedual is perfectly timed so that the nicest and longest days match up with the flowering schedule just right. Do you know how long the autos will take to Ben fully ready to chop? What brand are they ?

This is a topic that I'm interested in as well. I'm germing 8 or 9 autos for outdoors this year. Different than you, I think I am going to germinate in soil (Smart pots) with plastic wrap over it outside. From my understanding, the tap root shoots out quickly and works with the amount of space that it has and I dont want to miss that window in a rapid rooter plug or a paper towel.

es I am not truly believing the seller information I am expecting approximately 3 months until chop for all of them but here is the info:

Do-Si-Dos Cookies Auto Feminised Seeds - x10 seller info: 80 - 90 days
White Widow Auto Feminised Seeds - x10 seller info: 70 - 80 days from seed

Until 26 May there are the chances of frost in the morning so I will be popping them 27 May and planting them 1 of June for a maximum of the 3 hottest months in my country having the peak of the day at 21 of June when they will be at their peak of the vegetative stage, but the rest of the period is still with very good temperatures and approximately long days. I hope it's optimal I will make sure to make this as a journal when the time comes!
On the other hand, my feminized have sprouted yesterday 30 April, and are planted in my humidity dome 01. May and will be vegging inside until 1 of June when I intend to plant my autos, I will be strengthening them before I take them all outside of course, thank you a lot for having a look at my thread i will be more than happy to hear more advice from you along my way !

Wow that was something I didn't think about, is the paper towel method affecting this way ?? I am aware of the taproot shoot but I think it's later after the first week this shock can have an impact on the plant on this early stage I believe the plant is striving for root development only when the first sprout of the stem appears then the plant can decide to stop producing roots and focus on the top portion of itself! It's a great subject I would love to hear different opinions on it before I start my auto season !

The plan sounds good so far. With the autos you want to let them grow as good and as fast as possible, uninhibited. Though you can still germinate in paper towel and then drop into a red solo cup, and then into your final compartment. I have also heard that if the plant becomes rootbound it increases the factors that could cause the plant to go into flower.

There are definitely methods of transplanting to which I was tempting a lot, it really is a serious advantage to give the seedlings optimal environment I am gonna share them just in case someone is interested in the development of the thread!
1 - Jiffy piles are a great way to grow your seedlings in and in the transplanting isn't involved any risk of harming the roots after they are transplanted they will be growing out of the jiffy shell easily and into the designated soil. the bad side of it is the change of the soil itself autos are as delicate as they can be and the changes from one soil compost to another might be a difference you wouldn't like to pay, as well as the fact if you wait too much for transplant your roots will get exposed to sunlight which can be very harmful to the auto plant itself.
2 - The solo cup method has some varieties to it like having a plastic or a paper cup for the technique. Some people make big enough holes in their paper cups so that they don't take the plant out of the cup and plant it directly to the final pot giving the roots space from where to go, the bad side of this is again the main stem possibility to hit the bottom and to trick the plant into focusing the top development, besides the paper cups dry very fast so you always have to have an eye on them.
The plastic solo cups (NOT TRANSPARENT ) are great for seedlings but if you transplant while the soil is too dry any crack in the soil while you transplant might mean the cracks of the roots that it's holding, the taproot problem is the problem as well for this method I recommend transplanting at 7th to up to 10th day after planting the seed into your prefered temporary container the idea is to trick the plant so it doesn't even feel like it's been transplanted without any root going out of the temporary container soil capacity, as well as I recommend to never transplant in different soil mixes with autos! I hope this is useful to somebody I maybe had to add it to the main thread as well but whom who searches shall find !!
