I have the little bastards . Put two sticky fly traps in there and the infestation is bad but not devastating . Under the soil thought is a different story . What's the best way to get rid of the fuckers that are in the soil . Eggs ect coz I think my leafs are getting affected by them if not its another problem but I can think of only 2 other problems and it shouldn't be them. Hydrogen peroxide??15884604424798077819664468190967.jpg

Over watering aka watering too often. And or soil not draining good. Let your soil dry out more between waterings.

As far as the leaf I will leave that one for someone else. But it may be related.

details of grow?

But they still appear . I didn't water for like 4 days then about 5 days .the first 3 inch if soil was bone dry . The Plant started looking drained so I had to give it more water n it's perked up now but can I use hydrogen peroxide to rid the babies from the soil . I bet they have been at my roots . .will neem oil work ? I need the best solution to this problem coz I'm just a week and half into flowering and need them gone lol cheers

I guess it depends on how bad your overwatering? It looks like you have 4 threads on the same problems. Dude condense to one next time and people will help with everything they know.

Just one plant at the moment . Just a trial to see how it goes. Just got a 250 watt red spectrum CFL light . Also got a 75 watt LED light blue and red spectrum running down the side . 7 to 8 week vegged under the LED. Then thought I need something better for flowering so got that light the 250watt CFL . Didn't have a bug budget to be honest lol . My water is sometimes 5.5 but 80 percent of the time it's 6.5 ish pH. Just been using organic fish blood and bone eazi feed . Giving little bits in with the soil . It seems to be working fine . Got good P K levels in it . And 4 nitrogen .temp 28c with lights on . About 20 with lights off . It's my first plant iv tried. It's good fun but hard and scary as shit at first haha

Soz bro. Will do . I just tried the sand. The sticky traps and everything else like the less watering ect . So just needing more drastic approach that's why I put another post up haha . Think I did it on another thread not long ago too , my bad

I have been using cold pressed neem oil for years with great results. I mainly grow outdoor, so very versed on micro bugs in my area. The good thing about neem oil is that it's systemic in the plants system after a couple " Proper" application periods. And you can use it as a soil drench for them lil fuckers laying eggs in your soil also.

Can you use it on flowering plants ? I might get some off Amazon . Will it tell me on the bottle how to mix it ? Do they do different types of neem oil? Do I have to get a certain type lol cheers

More airflow, less water. That doesn’t look lime gnat damage though...gnats generally are more just obnoxious than anything else.

Even if the larva eat away at the tiny roots . I have looked around and seen similar pictures . Or it could be magnesium deficiency? Or lack of (P) that's the ones I have more or less narrowed it down to . Lack of light was one . I also had about 6 lower leafs fall off too , Little ones . That's was also on another post about gnants . I'm confused as to what the hells going on lol

No do not use it on flowering plants. Or your buds will smell and taste like neem oil. Yuck. Only use it in veg. Period and no longer than 1 week into pre flower stretch. There is different versions of neem. I personally use 100 percent cold pressed neem oil. lol l

It’s more likely poor root growth and lockout from overwatering....which is why you have the gnats.

Just my thought.

I'm a week and half into flowering . Lol . Erm I could use it in the soil and hope the fly traps do the trick aswell . Is it ok to use in the soil of flowering plants ?

So cut down on the water . Shall I just not water for a week . Then use a spray bottle and give a little every 3 days after that ? I have a fan on for the 12 hours of light . I have 5 drainage holes at the bottom of the tub and 1 in each side . I would send pics but it's sleeping at the min haha

BTI is supposed to be harmless but will kill the larvae that eat the roots. Mosquito bits and Gnatrol are two sources, gnatrol is easy to use and reasonably priced.

Leave your fan on at lights off
