Chicken manure and worm castings works good to for a soil conditioner with peat bases ..at like 2 parts peat 1 part worm shit 1 part chicken shit probly for a ratio u wouldn’t need much else than that outside for veg I wouldn’t think? It’s a 5-5-5 tho not 4-4-4 I believe.. if I were u I’d get a few peat based soil 3.8s like I do, I live on a dairy farm so I grab the old composted cow manure at the back of a like 100yr old manure pile it’s just like soil It’s dark n rich I mix bout 80% peat soil wit the perlite in it wit 20% of that compost manure, then I used to just add bone n blood meal kelp, rock phosphate etc.. u can get all the stuff Gaia green has individually and make ur own supersoil similar to subcool n them in California

What would anyone recommend as a substitute for Gaia Green? Amazon wants an additional 82 bucks to ship it to me.... the product is only $55...

I am trying an all organic (outdoor) grow this year and I am looking for something to top dress with for Veg and then something to top dress for Flower.

Dr Earth all purpose 4-4-4 and Dr Earth Flower Girl 3-9-4 or you can use Down to Earth 4-4-4 & Down to Earth 4-8-4

I found Gaia from a local retailer for 68$ for 20KG of 4-4-4 not sure hm the power bloom is yet..I need 20KG of that tho too I’m doing monsters outdoors .. got a reccomendation for sum hole sizes? I got a big one dug it’s probly good for 150+ gallons , an I got two more done up that should hold 50-60 maybe 80 haha.. but I think for the rest I’m gonna pre ammend sum 30 gals tho

Indoorgrowingcanada.com Delivery has always been 2-3 days, maybe different considering the pandemic. Also wayy cheaper than amazon. hope it helps. Also has anyone seen GG and pro mix grows and seen potassium def? i've only seen GG used in coco and i know coco has some potassium in it. I found another product from u-caan organics which has almost every single ingredient that GG has. The difference is their bloom formula is a 2-7-7 and must be applied weekly. I like the fact that you have to apply weekly as this would really help time with my flush much better over gg where the nutrient release is over a month time and knowing your cultivar is very important.

Man I had a P deficiency not K tho? From calcium overload (using cal-max with the Gaia green) it locked out most to all phospherus for a Few days after I did my first top dress of Gaia ever! I was shook af but I knew exactly what was going on a noobie would of piled more phospherus on an fuct themselves heavy probly.. buuuuut, I’m day 30 today and doing my last top dress after when my father gets home to give me an idea on how I should go about crushing it all up (the rocks n shit) cuz I just got my powerbloom today from Amazon the one I ordered like a month ago lol and it come in perfect timing cuz today is the day I’m spose to be dressing them riight..I did the first dress for them on day 8 of flower 22 days Ago n I’d wait a few more days b4 applying more but my strains run 63-70 days so I wanna nail em wit it today so they have time to become deficient an draw the last stuff out their leaves the last week of their life, it helps push that mad THC content out, along wit drying out your medium a few times near the end (to me a super long DRY/WET cycle for plants late into flower triggers anothe self defence mechanism within them that says “oh shit I am rly gonna die boiiis, BANG. They’l push out Another few %THC knowing there on there last leg trying to become the most ‘pollinated’ plant.. it only makes sense, I been growing for 13 years so I know what I’m talking about (for the noobs saying this ain’t true, your right. I’m NOT saying to starve your plant of water til it’s dead. All I’m rly saying is to let your bucket dry out suuuper light and when u think it’s finally time to water her well u should wait another 4 hours lol.. don’t wait til ur plant is drooping down an shitty af looking tho there’s a happy medium to the wet/dry cycle to rly get that max THC an resin content out of ur nugz boys) your plant should look well depleted when it’s ready to come down wit lots of nitro sucked out the leaves I prefer most my leaves to b yellowing hard the last 3 days for sure .. but then again that’s why my weed is so fuckin sticky n powerful rite? Lol (haters r getting shook rn*) thinking whatever I’m saying is a load of horseshit n it’s funny to me

I use roots organic terp Tea “ Grow and “ Bloom “. About as close as you can get to Gaia green. Gaia green is hard to get for me. I use is it as a dry amendment. You can make teas with it also, but I don’t do that.

If I decide to use it from now on which I probly will, ima get a 10kg of each there like 90$ a piece on amazon, + a 2KG of flowering bat guano ,and kelp for teas.. a bag of worm castings and lime to go wit my pro mix HP.. sum molasses and that’s it!

For anyone in the GTA, I've searched pretty far and wide for cheap goods, and the best prices I can find on Gaia Green products are here. Hope this helps. I'm not affiliated with them all, they're just not too far from me and their prices are great.

Same price at the grow store near /gerrard greenwood if closer.

Ya Gaia Green is expensive online. But fortunately I can get it 10kg for $53 at 2 different hydrostores i know of out here in AB. I've even seen Dr Earth (which i've never used but heard great things about) at local greenhouse as well. You should totally check out the nicest greenhouses in your area.

But ya if you get the 10kg bag gaia green is a good deal if you can find it locally. You could even buy some kelp meal, or alfalfa meal to add for teas and still be much cheaper than many other products.

What I can't find is their mineralized phosphate for bloom teas.

In cage - c99xblueberry fast (just in transition to flower and I’m tripping for her lately because it’s a fast version and it should of been flowering by August 1st at latest lol I would think anyway, must not finish until October ffs probly gonna try n mold on me, thought would b done September 22 at LATEST but probly mid September.... it’s gonna go til mid October for sure I gotta put a 7x7 greenhouse ontop of her in late sept by the looks of things. No buds yet! All my lemonade OG x freezelands and Durban freezelands been flowering 2-3 weeks now everything is great with them no complaints there huuuge 7-8ft x6-7ft, but all my clones of thbgorilla skittles ,blue cheese and 8ball kush are just in transition to flower now it’s upsettinng as fuck being I live in a swamp, it’s gonna get soupy out here anytime after late September, anybody do 8ball kush in the maritimes? Quebec/Ontario/Nova Scotia? Btw 30gal tote,is a snickerdoodle (cookies n cream x granddaddy purple) and 14gal one beside is my best cut of the gorilla skittles LST’d to shit she stacks heavy probly gonna finish them two totes inside under a few 600s unless they start to boogie an pack on weight which I doubt they will I’m scared of the big tote hermy’ing on me and fucking my crop so she kinda had to go inside she’s a “prized bag seed” LOL I think, we will c how she turns out she throwing whiskers out she a weirdo for sure

I wish I could get my hands on some Gaia green. Next to impossible to get where I am. So I had to settle for the next best thing, roots organic terp tea grow and bloom.

Hey so I hope someone sees this considering this post is old, but I have a question. So if I top dress in flowering stage with GAIA, do I still need to feed regularly? Or will this burn my plants? Also do I need to add kelp meal or EWC to my top dress if the Happy Frog soil I’m using already comes with that stuff and using this GAIA top dress will eventually amend/reactivate those things in my soil?
