$5T? It's more like $25T. The fed has been dumping tens of trillions into the bond and equity trading markets, and indirectly into the stock market. That is the only reason companies like ual stock aren't in the toilet and your credit cards and atm's still work.

When this catches up with the economy, we will make the Venezuelan currency look like gold. The filthy rich and connected won't care, because they will own all the real assets, just like putins oligarchs after the fall of the soviet union.
