can be too much light .. my cookie cut stress the same under hps if bulb too close

I have never adjusted my waters ph in my soil grows, I’m thinking now may be the time, as I’ve had this mother in the same soil for a while and have used synthetic fertilisers so maybe that has thrown the ph of the soil off? What do you think

i dont have much experience with soil, but ph is still important in terms of availability for a plant to eat a certain minerals.
with soil your relying on microbes to feed roots, (you feed microbes and they exhange minerals for sugar)
syntehtics will skip microbes and feed roots, (ph is more important at this stage)
have you changed your lighting at all? intensity could be too strong
if i see purple stems its normally due to intensity/ph

No she’s just under a 250watt hps along with a couple other mums and some begging plants

This happened to me, get ready for a shit fest.. My mother plant had no issues all the way from veg to flower until the 3rd week when I opened up one morning to buds dropping everywhere starting to turn off colors.
My pot wasn't draining, not sure how if months went by of it being fine? Feeding pushed her to her ph limit and she was taking up too much water which lead to the loss of 90% of my crop.
Stick a skewer into the drain hole and see if its like soup inside, if it is make an effort to dry it out best as possible before a flush.

Someone else said this, but I don’t want to have to keep repotting her to keep her healthy I would like to be able to sustain her in the current pot if possible

So judging by this soil ph tester I just bought my soil ph is just over 7my tap water is 7.2 without anything added to it sodo you think I should try giving her some water ph down to 6.5?

Sorry but that meter is worthless. Don't listen to it. I would guess your pH is low if anything since you've been feeding them acidic nutes. Do a slurry test or at least check the runoff to give you a better idea of what the actual soil pH is.
I finally went all out and got the BlueLab Soil Pen. No more guessing for me.

And I’ve always thought checking the runoff was pointless? As it all runs down the sides of the pot and out of the drainage holes etc
I may have to invest in one of those blue lab pens, I’ve had the blue lab hydro wand before with good results so may be worth abuy

Checking the runoff isn't accurate but it's better than nothing. I can get an idea of how the soil wants to buffer the pH, but it can be misleading too. The slurry test is more accurate, but I'm loving the pen.
