Yes, but you will need exhaust system in any proper tent setup.

I second this. And i would also recommend a 1000W ballast and both 600w Ushio MH and 1000w hortilux HPS bulbs. Virtually any dimable ballast will run both 600w and 1000w bulbs. Your looking at 5-600 but its necessary. Air exchange is a MUST. 6'' fan and filter running at at least 40% all the time whether you run CFL MH CMH HPS LED etc..... So in order to have proper air exchange and a high end LED, you are looking at a thousand bucks pretty easily.

Did some reading and it seems I am wrong, dimmable ballasts can run different bulbs. The store I bought mine at told me I couldn’t/shouldn’t. I have extra ballasts anyway so I just switch them out. Still confused about 50% 75% etc

Yeah they should be dimmable to wattages not percentages. Mine goes 600w, 750w, 1000w, and it has a "boost" setting that adds 10% so 660w, 825w, 1100w. I would assume a 1000w ballast that has a 50% option would be 500w. 75% would be 750w.

look into meijiu hlg quantumboards. ive got 2 of them, ive also got a hlg 550 v2 rspec which cost as much as the 2 meijius but its only a little bit better
