Tent is a 4 x 8, but floweing footprint currently is 4x5. Equipment etc fans taking up the other 3 feet. This is the ultimate goal. Wondering if I should ditch the table.period and just grow on the tent floor in the 1020 trays...

You don't have the height for the tables. You could put flood tables on the floor with a .5 - 1 in 12 pitch and an extraction pump and give yourself a manageable grow height.

I have a hunch that the V3's will be released this year...

I have a hunch they will be twice the price, and not twice as efficient
Really comes down to how much you need the extra efficiency, and what it is actually worth
