First attempt at LST

Just tied my plant for the first time, is this correct?
I’ve tied only my main stem so the side stems grow as tall.
Should I be cutting leaves off?

Correct in form; yes. I wouldn't remove any leaves if it were me, but then again, I wouldn't goof with the LST either. Never the less, yes you're on the right path, if LST is your goal. Good luck.

Thank you! What are the cons in using LST?
I thought it was the best way for a big yield in indoors?

I think she is too small for cutting leaves but dont worry about LST leaves too, just tie them to the position where you want them to be...

I simply don't fuss with it. I top any plants I want bushier. A healthy plant will rebound without issue, I don't have to fuss with tying this and tying that and I don't run the worry of snapping something because I just had to get that last little bit of bend out of it. I'm not saying it's bad...it's just not my cup of tea. Never the less, have fun and good luck.

I was also afraid of LST at first. But when you will get further, you will see that you will need to put a lot of effort to keep the main cola down. LST works good but even better for your need is a combination of topping and than LST. Do not be shy and make an experiment: TOP one of your plants and watch the difference. If you fail the LST untopped plants, likely you wont be able to manage it in strech period and your main colas will overgrow other tops. You can always put your topped plant to the same height by lifting up the pot... Than you will understand what are you looking for.
