Pro-mix HP Soaked bag

I got the last two (45l) bags of pro-mix from my local Rona online. They loaded the two bags in my trunk with curbside pickup.
When I got home one bag was light, the other weighed about 5 times more. Must have been sitting in water where ever they stored it.
Being corona season I can't return it so I opened it and dumped into a 100L tote in hopes of air drying it in batches.
Then I got hit with the musty smell after emptying half of it (potato bag/root cellar). Should I try using this stuff at all or just pitch it?

Well being that soil gets wet in it's intended application you should be just fine, unless it's not just water that is in the soil. I would test the pH and if thats the same as the dry bag I would go ahead and use it.

I grabbed some peat for the garden, they were 2-3 the weight, I was told the peat and mixes are heavy at the start of year, new stock, it dried up fine. My bales came off a new wrapped pallet so sitting in water wasn’t the case.

I saw that storing it wet would activate the lime and increase the ph.

I tested the ph, it was soaked already so it didn't want to take more water easily. Runoff was 6.7
I flushed a cup from the other (dry) bag, the runoff was 4.2; flushed it a second time and it was 6.5
I used 6.2 ph'd water.

Not sure if I'm testing it right, may have been different if I let it dry out first.

Anyway, ph aside, I was more concerned with the musty smell.. If it could create mildew problems if I bring it indoors.
Sorry if I'm overthinking this, It's my first grow so I'm being extra cautious.

I could try spreading it out on a tarp in the sun tomorrow to dry it out.. unless that risks bring pests back inside
