So i had some chunks in my GH cal mag and stopped by a local store to find something similar. Found this Future Harvest by Holland secret. Looking pretty good. They have a whole line up. I used to Calnesium but the label was totally wrong about dosage. I had already gone light. One plant was burned pretty badly but most of the others were okay. I will definitely go lighter next time.

Hopefully I can post a link here. It's pretty cheap stuff and for me to be able to just go to the store and get this where I live is something that's never happened before lol! So I think I'll be trying out more of this stuff.

Hello, just recently started a random seed that showed up, on the starter pack from Future Harvest
Mars 192 1000w in a 4x4 room with diamond foil.
Using micro,grow,bloom,super b+,royal g and propogator.

I’m just concerned about following the feed schedule they have on their website. I added all the macro amounts of each per week. I don’t know much about nute feeding but it doesn’t look like typical feeding schedules I’ve read on this site so far. Not enough N in veg and lots of K

Left is NPK added up, right is the lowest common factor version.

Thank you for your interest in Future Harvest Nutrients. Our feed schedules have been tested and tweaked over many years based on the nutrient requirements for most popular strains in the market. Different strains have different nutrient requirements so our dosages should be used as a guide. We always recommend to read your plant for any indication of nutrient burn, flush your medium accordingly then lower your dosages by 10-15%. We always advise our customers about always staying on the safe side so if you're skeptical about our aggressive dosages, feel free to start at 50% dosage and scale up accordingly. At the bottom of our feed schedule, we have instructions for if you see any nutrient tip burn on your leaves. Let us know if you have any other questions about anything.

Thank you for your interest in Future Harvest. Our Calnesium dosage has been tried and tested for many years on the most popular cannabis strains in the market. One significant factor that could play a role in any nute burn would be the quality of your water. We base our doses on using Reverse Osmosis water with a PPM of 0. To counteract any toxicity issues related to hard water, we've created a version of our Holland Secret Micro in a Hard Water version. If you're using hard water with a ppm between 200 and 300, we suggest using our Hard Water Micro. Also, if you're using hard water with over 350ppm, we suggest using Hard Water Micro without using Calnesium at all. Let us know if you have any more questions about this.

Yeah that does seem like a lot of k. Though I see it's almost always like that with these trio packs from any brand. Which is weird to me cause that's not the way I was taught. Maybe they've done research over the years and come to the understanding that you need more k in veg?

That very well could be it. I'm just gonna roll with the schedule at 30%-50% strength and monitor closely. I'm sure there is some research behind it. I have 0 experience with growing and there is too much information out there with regards to feeding so I don't know what to believe .

I would at least start at 50% strength and ramp up from there. If your plants are looking on the light green side, they're telling you they want more nutrients. Happy growing!

The future harvest admin that is posting on here clearly came across this then made an account here to push the product. He's not really trying to work with us here.. He's trying to push product. After my experience here with this guy and my experience with the product I've gone ahead and ordered myself some fox farm products. I don't like this kind of corporate.. Robotic b.s.

30% and work up very slowly and watch carefully. 50% and working up I can almost gauruntee nute burn. I tried it. Bad idea.

I dont know what's going on with you other guys but I've been using this stuff for almost 10 years with really good results. I started out 50% then went to 75 then 100. Only mix with hot water and always mix the calcium first! That's a must.

The OP "burned" his crop with a product that is 2% nitrogen, 3% calcium, and 1% magnesium without any other listed ingredients. Not under any normal circumstances could that be considered a hot mix. Unless there are secret ingredients or there was something wrong with that particular batch (definitely possible), my guess would be that something else was at play in producing the bad results. Perhaps the plant was overfed and right on the border of toxicity and this product pushed it over the edge? PH issues perhaps? Watering issues? Diseased roots? Light burn? High temps? Pics would have been helpful, considering how obvious and easy to diagnose N burn looks and how unusual it is to "burn" a plant with calcium or magnesium, although extremely high levels of magnesium can technically "burn" a plant through salt toxicity. I've never heard of a single person ever giving their plant enough magnesium to create such a situation.

I'm not calling anyone a liar or s^^t-talking. I'm just curious. I use one of the products from this company so it's in my interests to know if there are any quality control issues. To this date, I have not had any problems with the Future Harvest product that I use, which is "bud boom". It's a nice cheap and easy solution of Monopotassium Phosphate and Magnesium Sulfate. It irritates the dry salts guys when people pay for liquid solutions of two such easily soluble compounds, but sometimes laziness comes into play

One more thing: The OP accused the Future Harvest guy of shilling in this thread. I think that's an unfair accusation based on my interpretation of the responses. But judge for yourselves I guess.

I would gladly deal with a company that responds to my complaint, offers tips to correct my problems, offers to help troubleshoot and offers a refund. Many companies don't respond at all and could care less. How many companies pay somebody to monitor internet sites? It is about money or they wouldn't be in business. It's good business to monitor and respond on sites that your target audience frequents.
