Need Good affordable GDP / Granddaddy purple seeds , KEN'S is too expensive

Hi could you please suggest a breeder who supplies good quality Grand daddy purple , but at a reasonable price. Ken's is like $98 (!!!) For 5 seeds. So I have to go for someone more affordable

CSI Humboldt has a lot of killer purple s1s. GDP might be one of them, but I know he has Urkle and Mendo Purps s1s and Madd Farmer's Lavender and Urkle stuff are amazing too. Since GDP is just watered down Urkle, any of those would be better than Ken's crap anyway. All I have heard from people who grew those out is that it's nothing like the cut anyway.

Really Purple Urkle is better for insomnia than grand daddy purple ??

I've never grown it.
I have grown bcbuddepot's purps. It was pretty sedative after the initial high. Kinda wish i had cloned that one.

Not a great yield though... At least the one i had. Very branchy and short, but frosty and stinky

You want gdp but won't pay for real deal, from the guy that bred it??? Lol

At various times, he's claimed to have been gifted seeds by some Indian medicine man that GDP came from and to have bred it himself over a period of 10+ years. It's just a cross of Urkle and Big Bud that someone in Cali made years ago that happened to produce a good pheno that Ken found and he's parlayed that into an agressive marketing scheme. Research it. The information is out there and not hard to find. He's also F2'd and renamed other people's strains to claim as his own work to enter into Cups, but that's another story....

It's been a long time since I heard the story. Something about the dudes (can't remember who) he was breeding with and then went out on his own. My memory isn't that reliable on this, but I don't doubt you. That's pretty shady riding people's coat tails like that, there is an awful lot of people out there scamming these days. It's pretty sad to see.
