Leave it dry as is unless it’s a popcorn fart, not too dry, use common sense there, when you transplant just open your hand and put the stem threw your fingers and turn the pot upside down, give it some bounces to shake stuff off, make your 3-5gal pails up, keep your ratios equal for each pot if you mix separate, one at a time. Promix is hard to wet when dry, you want it a bit damp though. Just make a pocket that’s too big and kinda fluff some dirt in as you set the plant in, you can hold it by the stem, just don’t smash the rootball down kind thing but try and burry dangling roots as you go. For one 5 gallon pot, prob put a few gallons of ph corrected water threw then another gallon with mixed nutes. You won’t waste nutrients this way, help settle the root mass, wash the roots. It will sink, make holes, don’t pour around the rootmass until the pot has settled or you will put a hole threw the peat. Make it pretty when it’s all over, make sure pails have enough drain holes. Plant will prob droop after, search this site for drain to waste GH feed chart. Let it dry out, give it good light.
