I have a girl that is growing GREAT. Another one coming on. So beautiful. They are in garage. I never noticed the smell much, until now. They are at very back of garage. When I am out back behind the garage, I definitely smell the characteristic smell! What is the best/easiest/cheapest way to get rid of that? Thanks so much!!!

Thank you Kassiopeija and KK26! Did some research, I follow you on activated carbon now! So. Do I really need one of these fancy (and pricey) set ups, or can I not just do something like the following:

I will set up my babies in 5 gallon buckets. In the garage, behind my old car that never moves. In a straight line.

I build a wooden rectangular structure around them. So, its very long, about a two feet wide of something (basically a little wider than a 5 gallon bucket) wood on top, sides and the back.

On the front, there is no wood - so it opens into the rest of the garage.

Over the opening at the front, I have a box fan that covers the opening (and then some probably). It is set to blow out from the box, thus sucking air out from the box.

Right on the other side of the fan I have trays of activate carbon set up, one over the other, with very little space in between.

So all the air is pulled out of the box with all the plants, over the activated carbon, into the garage.

Something like that might do the trick?

Thanks!!!

So getto and not ideal at all but if price is an issue for the proper equipment you might be stuck between a rock and a hard place.

Only advice I can give is save to buy a proper set up. You will be rewarded come harvest time.

Sory pal but growing does need planning.

So first off, your idea actually sounds more expensive to me. Lumber costs more than a tent these days!

Also, are these autos? Because if they're photos at some point they'll need a real dark cycle. And if they're in a garage, what's their light source right now?

Have a look on Youtube or google how to make your own carbon filter, you can do it pretty cheaply. It isn't ideal but would be more effective than placing the carbon in trays near a fan.
