Lighting leak question

Hi, sorry if this is the wrong place for this but I dont know where else to ask.

The light inside the tent is leaking out kind of alot and im wondering if its dangerous for me to be inside the same room for 12 hours or more a day?
The light is a 1000watt black star hydro, I see that there are UV lights listed in the description of this when googled online and that is my concern. I just want to make sure I am not putting my health at risk.

edit: there is no other light on in the photo, the only light is from the light in the tent.

Thanks for taking the time to read.

I personally wouldn't be worried about your exposure to the lights. What I would be concerned about is the fact that any light coming from the tent is light wasted. Your plant(s) cannot use what escapes the tent. Also depending on the legality in your area, you'll want to get your leaks fixed. Light that color coming from a window screams "I'm growing over here!" Quick way to end up with a visit from folks you don't want to see. Law enforcement or otherwise.
For the leaks through the walls of your tent reflective ducting tape from inside will maintain the reflection and close your holes. NOT duct tape, you want aluminum backed ducting tape. I have an inline fan going to a carbon filter to block my top vent leaks. I'm sorry but I have no idea how to fix the leaks around the zippers. For the vents I would make a quick light block from cardboard, but bend it so air can still get through. Just a few ideas.

Improvised light block...cereal box! Cut vent sized hole, tape to tent over vent. should block most of the light and provide airflow. I've been hitting some gorilla glue kief and the ideas come randomly.

I grow in my room with a 400w hps light and it's super bright so could imagine what urs would be like. But I'm always exposed to the light because I grow in a wardrobe so it has to remain open unless the girls are sleeping. Hasn't done any damage to my health if anything just gets so hot in here even with 3 fans running.lol

If it were me I would return that tent. The light coming from the inside of tent isn’t as important as the light going in. Those are some pretty significant light leaks that will wreak havoc on your grow during flower.

Have you grown with this light in that tent before?

You realize fans do not change the temperature of air right? If anything they make it hotter because they use electricity.

I used to sleep with my tents open, ahhh the comfort of a blurple, miss that. Honestly was kind of oddly comforting :weed:
