I’m not sure how to go about that, if the plant is healthy I would flush it and start light clean ph’ed nute water, flushing it will make a wet transplant. How big of a pot is in now and where’s it going. In gallons.. or litres.. it’s in dirt now? What kind of dirt, like miracle grow potting mix?
its in regular yellow bag miracle gro potting mix, I have them in my back yard outside and the pots are 13" I think there 3-5 gallon pots not sure they don't say on the pots just says 13" my mom gave me them

Leave it dry as is unless it’s a popcorn fart, not too dry, use common sense there, when you transplant just open your hand and put the stem threw your fingers and turn the pot upside down, give it some bounces to shake stuff off, make your 3-5gal pails up, keep your ratios equal for each pot if you mix separate, one at a time. Promix is hard to wet when dry, you want it a bit damp though. Just make a pocket that’s too big and kinda fluff some dirt in as you set the plant in, you can hold it by the stem, just don’t smash the rootball down kind thing but try and burry dangling roots as you go. For one 5 gallon pot, prob put a few gallons of ph corrected water threw then another gallon with mixed nutes. You won’t waste nutrients this way, help settle the root mass, wash the roots. It will sink, make holes, don’t pour around the rootmass until the pot has settled or you will put a hole threw the peat. Make it pretty when it’s all over, make sure pails have enough drain holes. Plant will prob droop after, search this site for drain to waste GH feed chart. Let it dry out, give it good light.

leave it dry in the miracle gro ? I haven't watered them since Tuesday but it also lightly rained Wednesday the dirt still feels slightly moist and cold when I stick my finger into the soil up to my knuckles, and the plants were started in one of those root starter things so should be pretty easy to take them out, and I got root farm ph up and down and a root farm test kit to test my ph and theres lots of drain holes, I do have some bigger pots, would it be better to use the bigger ones ? im just growing for my self so don't need them to big mostly just for personal use and to give some to my buddies

Indoor or outdoor, i would use as big as pots as my setup will allow. I’m basically doing what you are for my outdoor, my bigger pots are 20gallon, my deck pots are 2-5 gallon. Same feed GH, same medium, promix hp, perlite. I used 3-5 gallon pots indoors. Damp is fine, too dry or too wet is bad.

No that’s 2 different methods, food will come from either nutrients or soil amendments, you just need nutrients, perlite and ph up and down for now. You can change it up once your on track if you want. I’m assuming you have a ph pen.

Canadian Sphagnum Peat Moss, Coarse Perlite, Dolomite Lime, Long-Lasting Wetting Agent, that's whats in sunshine #4 I thought it already had good oxygen, how much perlite should I put in a 13" pot?, and whats a good nutrient I could get from home depot or wallmart?
I've used Sunshine #4 for several years now. I have never found that I needed to add Perlite (or anything for that matter). It works great right out of the bag.

i just got sunshine #4 garden mix i first got miracle gro potting soil then found out it sucks my seedlings have been in miracle gro for 6 days im going to switch them into the sunshine #4 garden mix today so wondering do i mix sunshine #4 garden mix with anything or do i just plant them and then water?
Just plant and water. After the Miracle Gro they’re good for a while. When dry give a light feeding. Be sure to learn wet weight from dry. Containers may appear dry even down a finger deep but still be holding moisture. Suggest filling your container with the Sunshine. Lift it. Repeatedly. Then empty out enough to transplant the plant. Try knocking off the wettened MG. It will not hurt the plant. Free the roots as much as possible. I’ve even rinsed them off before. Lay them out and fill the container. Lift it repeatedly. Then give a little water. A 5 gallon container should be fine starting off with 1/2 gallon water.

I would recommend waiting until the plants are transplant-ready size, and move it to the Sunshine mix at that point. You will likely do more harm than good trying to get rid of the Miracle Gro medium from the roots. Wait until the root ball is formed in the MG, then transplant the whole thing, soil and all.

This will significantly reduce the shock the plant will go through and give it a better chance at survival after the transplant. It does not matter if there's still some MG in the transplanted pot. The roots will reach out into the peat medium very quickly.

Next run, start your seeds right in a pot of Sunshine.

guessing that's a no haha ya ive read reviews on it and apparently the ph tester on it isn't accurate some people said it works but more said it doesn't work lol
Yeah. Just goofing around with the icon dealios.
Seriously, get the best you can afford and take care of it. Drops are an ok backup.

i got the seedlings from my local pot shop they were in one of those root growing things theyve been in mg for 6 days today so you think should leave them in the mg till tbere bit bigger then transplant them in sunshine #4? and ya sunshine #4 alreasy has good drainage and air flow already
