Dying mother plant.

hey guys! I work for a Liscenced farm in northern California. I won't say I'm an expert but my experience is not limited. I was asked by my boss to bring back a mother plant which is in horrible condition. Its pretty much all dead except for 4 tiny branches at the very top which are almost dead as well. The whole stalk seems dead and dried out except for the 4 little tops i saved. I've tried just about everything I could research. This thing has been hit with bug infestations, Over watering and just horrible neglect from previous workers. My boss is dead set on trying to bring it back to live. I took 2 clones in hopes they'll root. Any suggestions? At this point I will try anything!Screenshot_20200516-030223_Video Player.jpg

Are the 4 branches that are saved getting worse? I haven’t necessarily experienced this exact situation but I revegged a plant with one small lower bud, it took a month to show signs of life & I was able to get a clone from it. That plant looks to still have some type of life, is it up taking water?

pay attention to it for a while, treat it properly, and give it what it wants and it will probably recover.

I didn't need any description to tell its been horribly neglected lol.
But!!! I purposely starve some of my clones sometimes to keep them smaller or to hold out and make sure I don't need them before getting rid of them. I have had some that were pretty much as bad as this that I brought back to healthy just to see if they'd. One come back. They did.

When's the last time you up-potted? Did you take all the living branches?

I would get her into some proper soil. The soil it's in now, may have some sort of problem.
