Fast Buds question

How long from seed to chop. package says flowering 8-10 weeks but the advertise from seed to chop 8 -10 weeks. I went away for a week thinking they be done when I got back. , popped March 1 , seems like my trichomes and great smell are gone.

Plan on 90-110 days from seed to harvest. What strain you running?

I run a lot of fastbuds strains ….never had one do over 75 days, even the sativa leaning strains.

Last crop 100 days. The people that have enjoyed some say it is the best smelling/tasting they have ever had. Ive cut branches and tried samples at varying ages of the same plants. They are definitely best when they go long. I start seeing amber around day 70-80 but the amount of amber doesnt really increase much from then to day 100.

Thanks for that input...Actually I barely keep up with days...I just watch trics…..I currently have 3 gelatos at 6 weeks...I'll let one go further and see how I like it.....smaller pots may finish earlier and I have noted faster grows after my lighting upgrade and automating my environment....but I do harvest according to tric color.....growing 4-6 different strains perpetually, I always harvest selected ones before selected others....some for daytime use and some for night...but all to alleviate my old ass aches and pains. Who knows, I was probably well medicated when I counted!

6 weeks from the time you put the bean into the dirt? Are you cutting it now? Are any of the hairs even orange yet?

The Gelato is FIRE. By far the best strain ive had from them.

I used 5 gallon fabric pots with good organic soil average 4 ounces per.

And just a heads up I thought the zkittles was GARBAGE. No potency. Minimal taste. Lowest yielder.

Oh NO! All three Gels are 6 weeks OLD...Ain't even chkn'em yet....Just starting to beef up. Regardless when I chop, I'll let one go 2-3 weeks more.
I agree about zkittles..I too found it disappointing....my last gelato was great for spasms.
I grow in 2ltr pots of organics also...avg 2 oz per plant....Been at it this way for 15 years constantly upgrading everything except size of pots. Growing bonzai trees 50 years taught me care for the little ones.
I'm just glad my favorite hobby is my favorite medicine.

I'm curious what kind of lighting you both are running? I look to be on pace for Oldreefers finishing times and I have been counting Day 1 as ungerminated seed placed in soil, which apparently most count from the first day above ground sans seed cap.

My fast buds threw orange hairs 2weeks into flower. Fast buds autos harvest quickly. After the seventh week my trichomes Start to deteriorate

This one I had to trick into flower. She would not start flowering. This is four weeks of flowering and by far the best smelling one yet. This is four weeks of flowering and by far the best smelling one yet I need to also mention that when I left 12 days ago my girls all smell beautiful, 12 days later two of them have just a hint of lemon compared to the other one that smells like a cup of lemonade. Only reason I can think of is I didn’t harvest it in time. And they also started growing seeds in the last 12 days. Can that be because I threw my photo in the tent with the Otto’Can that be because I threw my photo in the tent with the Autos And change the light cycle to 12/12image.jpg

I try to put dates on my plants but sometimes forget as I keep bout 10 going perpetually, harvested 3-4 every 2 weeks. Seedling above ground is day 1 ….
I really don't harvest by time....just kinda keep in mind while watching leaves and girlie parts when getting close.
My lighting is a mix of cobs and qb….a rapidled 75w cob +55w autocob + Marshydro ts1000 at 150w....bout 45w per sq ft. My environment is automated with axial and inkbird controls....

I was really unhappy with the lemon ak. I planted 5 seeds. 3 sprouted and one was super retarded so it got killed. Of the two that made it, one flowered as my biggest plant with awesome bud structure and pretty good quality. The other didnt flower after over 70 days and was gifted to a friend with a 12/12 tent and it eventually ended up covered in bugs but it had started to flower.

I run the sun system AC/DE hood with bulbs ranging from 600w MH to 1000w MH to 1000w HPS that i run at 1100w. Its quite a bit of light for a 5x5 I honestly think it was a little to much for my last round of autos but it should be perfect for photos.

I had one that would not flower and i gave it away. I think the Fastbuds Lemon AK is a dud. The one that did flower and make really nice buds has almost no lemon smell.

I’ve read your post somewhere else or another thread I remember telling myself I had the same situation with the one not flowering if you look at my last post I also just got off Fast Buds Site. They say it is very rare for a strain to go over eight weeks from the time it pops the soil
