So I had a small room that would hardly hold two plants under the stairs in my house, I am moving to a 10x13 or bigger room now, open ceiling, just joists, can someone give me my disadvantages I will have to address during this build. It is a clean slate now including the walls being painted and so on

Fresh air, or sealed room?
I have access to an exterior wall so I am thinking I will bring fresh air in threw there with an adjustment for how much comes in, yes the carbon filter is from my little room right next to it. Should I paint all the walls white? Vapor variorum the ceiling to keep some humidity in, I also have access to put put a stand up sink and drain for everything

So I’m not building a light, I know it’s cheaper and probably better but I have no desire for that at this moment. Question - Mars 3000, or Spider 4000? That’s what I got it narrowed down to for price point and quality

I’m no expert in lighting but I have been researching and been reaching out to some clever guys on here and for a little bit more cash you could look at the Lumatek led ☮

Ya don’t really want to go any higher,, I have sunk a lot into my previous room and now it feels like I’m starting from scratch, so budget is key

Out of just those options, I'd elect for the SF-4000

hey there, couple things i saw in the pictures i saw that two of the walls are insulated are the rest of the walls being insulated? or are we standing in the corner of the basement? are you building a climate controlled room if so you would want to insulate all the walls and the ceiling and the vapour barrier should be continueous. im unsure of your local building codes but that vapour barrier looks awfully thin. also for batt insulation to be most effective it should be fluffed when the vapour barrier goes overtop the insulation should look like its almost pushing the plastic outwards. congrats on the new room :D
