Led grows

Anyone have a sucesfull LED grow that didn't buy a 300 to 800 dollar light.

I got a little over 2 oz a plant, until they tipped/fell over from weight, with these home made $20 lights...lol

8 x 60 watt LED (~10w used) per panel.

In a 2 x 4 foot space.

I found 5 of these 400w floodlights (new) on craigslist for $40 each. I bought them all. I used half (10 of the 20) of the light panels to make my own LED grow lights. 3500k warm white. The 10 light panels pull exactly 880w from the wall and I've got them set on in one of my 4x8 tents. Total cost for lights in this 4x8 tent = $100

Well shit. Seems like building your own is the way to go. I just got a 1kwatt hps equivalent led for 110$. I just want to know im gonna be able to have 2 or 3 good plants one or at least 2

if you can return it, do it, whatever that light is its trash. if heat is an issue, then consider quantum boards. if heat is not an issue, run HID.
