Thoughts on co2 whilst growing

Any ideas how to fix this problem then mate?
If venting to control the temps and/or humidity is your only option, you may just need to kiss a little bit of that CO2 goodbye..

A proper sealed room setup will have an air conditioner (preferably a mini-split) and a dehumidifier to control temps / humidity.

Good Luck!

I got ya , don’t think I’ll be getting a aircon system any time soon , my ventilation only comes on in small bursts when needed and it’s not on loads unless outside temp is really hot , so hopefully the room will soon fill back up with co2 ?

in the summertime, my girls are a cool 72/75 and my fat ass deals with 80 or above. They are always more comfortable than I am. Full environmental control is the way to grow.

I have 2 x 250 watt quantum board leds.
then 2 x 600 watt viperspectra led (these I wanna replace with two more quantum boards as the viperspectra isn’t great and juicy too .
you must be in a warm climate if you need to vent them? sorry, just saw you vent the humidity. how is the heat? could you add a dehu?

there’s been a mini heatwave here day temps outside been about 78 . The viperrspectra gives of quite a lot of heat too . when the temp is lower I don’t need to normally vent but I did it as I thought it would be good to have some fresh airflow coming in or do I not need to do that as the fan are probley still turning a little just with the natural wind ?

Thanks , I have read this before in the past and I’m starting to get used to using vpd but I thought you would still need to have a good airflow to stop mould etc ?
always need a fan on the girls, if you can keep you temps and humidity in range without venting, then c02 might work for you. You can also run higher temps using c02, it actually works better at higher temps. swap those high temp lights for a dehu?

Right so I’ve got circulating fans on all the girls a inlet fan bringing in fresh air and helping control temp a little and that works pretty well when heatwave isn’t here, so you think when temps drop I can carry on with it like that and just turn of the exhaust fan ?

Yes, as long as you have a CO2 controller, it'll bring the CO2 PPM's back up after you vent no problem.

IMO to get the full benefits of using C02 your investment in a sealed room with full environment controls should be the first consideration. Think of your ROI as it’s not cheap done properly.

Yeah I wanna do it right if I’m gonna spend the money . I’m using growtronix to control my room and they have a co2 sensor it’s not cheap but I’m guessing irs worth the money .
so along with that I just need to get a regulator and co2 bottle right ?
We have a Growtronix system and just set our CO2 tank. I have a 0-5V output and contacts on my high dollar CO2 sensor, I have had some trouble with the Growtronix module being stable when 5v is applied. I currently have the CO2 controller calling for CO2 and a growtronix relay module enabling/disabling the CO2. So far it has worked great. I wish I could get their 0-5 v module to work correctly.
