Need advice from growers yielding .75g+ per watt in organics

Hello! I'm running a DE Hps 1000 watt grow with a 5 foot spacing from the top of the pot to the bottom of the light. Which gives me about 3 feet of finishing height before the lights are getting to close. I'm trying to figure out what the optimal size fabric pots I should use for maximum production. This is for a SOG style grow btw.

How long would you veg after clones have rooted, how many plants under a 1000 watt light and in what size pots?

Humidity is actually preferred since I run high temperature and need very high humidity to be in the right ballpark for VPD. My minisplit is a little undersized so its keeping my temps at a good 83(c02) but it dehumidifies way too much for my liking

I give up on VPD once I have buds forming. Mold resistant strains will do ok with the higher RH% but non resistant strains will get the bud rot. I think my yields speak for themselves.

I never really took this seriously when I was growing in 5 gal pots with salt based nutrients, because the soil is permitted to dry out a lot more, and it didn't seem to be that big of an issue. But I'm really seeing the effect of this with my current organic grow, though, due to the soil being more consistently wet/damp in larger (10 gal) pots, and I will probably switch over to plastic for my next grow.

After stretch during bud set and ripening I keep my RH% between 35 and 45%. I hate seeing it even hit 50%. Pulling over 4 pounds a plant indoors.

Temps in the mid 80's until the last 3 weeks or so, then I start incrementally dimming lights, dropping CO2 and temps into the upper 70's as this prevents fox tailing and makes for denser and more terpy bud.

SOG = 1-4 plants per square foot, measure your pots and go with something that puts you in the middle to top figure to give pot size and plant count.

Just seen your grow and I’m so impressed. Having such a low plant count but being meticulous about filling the canopy seems to be less stressful then running multiple demanding strains in small pots. It’ll be easier to keep that plant healthy also as opposed to a high plant count. Great job! I do have one question tho. What’s your temps are night? I’m hearing anything from 15 degree difference being optimal as the plant saves it carbohydrates and causes a stretch. Warmer temps with no fluctuation causing reduced stretching? This could all be stoner science so I would like your take on it.

It's generally warm, due to dehumidifiers. In the upper 70's to mid 80's in the dark. So basically I don't let it get cool in there anymore. Remember that if your air cools off the RH% goes up.

It is ran by my environmental controller, usually it's not on much when the lights are on, more in the dark but it can kick on during the day.
