well. somewhat of a bump in the road

about a week ago i woke up to my daily routine of inspection and found half of my branches had snapped and laying on the ground. Fortunately none completely tore 100% off i put make shift supports and plant tape to support where needed. they were stunted for a bit had to realign themselves to the sun again and went right back to work. these los angeles winds lately been damaging to these 3 girls.

Those plants are going to get HUGE. They need to be topped if you have not done so already. They will most definitely need a support system like a large metal cage with a trellis over the top or just lots of trellis. They are going to be something like this.....

well lost about half of the branches to the plants growing too vigorously fast combined with no support and super strong winds was a recipe for disaster! not completely torn off but damn near! hoping they dont stress too much and recover!

Transplant directly into the 60 gallon. Trying to transplant a 30 to a 60 will be a nightmare and you will likely do major damage to the root system. Even that pot you have looks really big to be transplanting out of.

Its a fabric sowed pot I was just going to rip the seam open on the pot and transfer root ball over to new you can see roots if you look down the sides of the pot the soil is seperarted from the walls being lifted so many times lol but I think I'm going to consider doing straight to 60 I was hoping 30 was my final transfer but she got bigger than expected and don't think 30 is big enough I don't even have the 60s yet
