Seriously its nothing, if they werent 500% more exspensive than hps id probably use one for veg too.

500% more expensive? Are you including the annual replacement bulbs for HPS, the energy savings, or the additional cooling that some will need while running HPS?

You seem to have tunnel vision. I've recommended HPS to some people who were in the market for LED when it makes more sense. In fact, I did earlier today...

If your basement is that cool, year round, then you’d be better off going with HPS lights. I’m all for LED, but you would need to supplement some heat to get into the temp range that is best for LED growing, so you won’t really be saving anything on your electric bill.

I'm starting to think that you just get off from arguing with people.

Yes, all of them did. Even though I used HPS for decades, I couldn't wait to just post on forums endlessly trashing them after I made the switch to LED.

I run a DE 750 in my high ceiling flowering room with 315s at the corners. My other flowering rooms are tents. LEDs have a definite advantage when it comes to lower ceilings. I also happen to live in a hot climate with outrageously expensive electricity.

Those who struggled with minor stuff like electricity and hot deserts would sell some to friends relatives and medically deprived and that would solve the problem of having to whine like a girl that its hot or this bill is high again.

Is there any reason why some people leave there light on for 18 instead of 24 I just saw it online but it’s said people use 18 for a good reason instead of 24 hours

Saves electricity. Gives the plants a rest.

From what I've read, giving them 24/0 vs 18/6 does give them a slight growth advantage. But it's negligible.

When I do start growing with my hps when the trichomes start changing colour would it really make any difference if they were 100 percent amber
