Garage door opener recommendations

Hey guys,
Since you guys pretty much know everything can someone recommend a garage door opener? I've been looking at the new wall mounted types, which are very sexy. I've been looking at the traditional overhead openers which have this or that. I'm sick of looking at them. Anyone have any recommendations?
Thanks!

I would recommend a slightly sedated husband. But the percentage of 1-star reviews in Amazon has as a consequence that I don’t recommend it. Despite the enormous trunk-munk factor

I recommend a pulley, a hamster wheel and about 4 hyperactive hamsters

Just kidding don't feed hamsters meth. Use adderal, if its safe for the kids its safe for a garage door opener
Yeah you couldn’t even find the original German Sympathorodentin any longer, not even on Uzbek eBay.
Those hamsters were being trained to guide the America Missile. Just imagine a world in which Boston is the only city to be nuked in the war.

Hasn't happened to me but I will admit to forgetting to close it one time
The motion light that comes with it was a great addition to the garage and barn
The last time I had an automatic garage door opener was prior to the proliferation of electronic devices (the 1980s). I could see how there could be a lot of extraneous signals that could cause this. Anyway I purchased a Wyze motion detector camera so I will be able to get an alert when the door activates. So I'm seriously thinking of pulling the trigger on the 8500. I need to add in some electrical boxes first so I have a good 2 weeks before I'm ready to install it.

Thank you for your input.

I have Genie belt driven at one place and Chamberlain chain driven at my place.

Buy the belt driven! Soooo much quieter!

One side seemed to be going up and down by itself which is why I put a Guardzilla cam in there.

But it turned out to be and old piece of flashing came out just far enough to interfere with the door operation. So when the door would be electronically ordered to close, it would brush by the old flashing and then go back up after closing half way. They all have safety sensor so if they detect they are hitting something, they immediately go back up.

I just put 30 more nails in the flashing and it never happened again.

It's almost impossible for two door openers to use the same frequency on their remotes, so I'm told but anything can be hacked by crooks I guess. They all have manual locks inside, slide bolts.

The Genie ones have a backup battery. If you lose power, they will go up and down another 30 times. Battery recharges when power returns.

Where the Chamberlain is has a generator so I don't need the battery back up. But the noise can be heard in the bedroom when it opens/closes so there's no sneaking in late at night. Lol.

Thank you, when I posted this I was hoping you'd have the answer. I'm looking at those sexy wall mounts. But I find noise a feature. I want to hear my garage door going up in the middle of the night.

I recently replaced a Overhead Door model and added 2 Liftmaster , I wanted the WIFI abilities.

Belt drive is near silent. Usually the dogs tell me she is home, the door opener is hard to hear.
