The news said something about replacing officers with community members. It'll be the same. Give any group that kind of power and it'll get to their heads.. just my opinion though. Like the Stanford prison experiment.

It was intended to measure the effect of role-playing, labeling, and social expectations on behaviour over a period of two weeks. One Florida police organization has said it will re-hire those very officers accused of misconduct, and that offer is prompting outrage.

Good guy becomes a cop. Wants to do his best for the community he serves. Tries his best to interact and get to know members of the community. He’s spit on an called a racist, fascist pig.
a few years later he’s out there in that same community rejected and disgruntled.
good luck dealing with that cop for the next 20 years. You want cops to be perfect. They’re not. They’re human beings, just like you.
Stop spending so much time judging others. Have a look at yourselves once in a while.
