The longer the exhaust hose is, the more resistance you are creating, and putting the carbon filter on the outside of the tent means you are "pushing" the exhaust through the filter, rather than pulling it, and that also creates more resistance. Why can't you blow the exhaust outside if you are filtering the air? Just get a portable air conditioner vent cap for it and nobody will know the difference.i have the tent in its own room. the exhaust tubing goes all the way to the other side and it attached to a carbon filter. i cant run the tubing outside of the house due to the area i live in. not a good area. so i like to keep it discreet. the room is kept at 72 degrees but somehow the tent gets up to 85 daily. i have the vent on the bottom opposite side of the inline fan open to draw in fresh air into the tent and i have a fan directly in-front of the outside of the tent pointing the fresh air directly into the tent. could i run the exhaust into the walk in closet in the room?
