Whad up everyone?!
Well, after nearly 3 full days in the flowering closet drying, they are ready to start the cure. I will try 2 weeks on most all of it, but I'll be smokin it for the next 2 months.
The final weight was 5oz. Trainwreck yielded 3.5oz, including what was chopped early. Crimea Blue 1.5oz.
I am keeping 2.25oz for myself, 1.5oz of Trainwreck(which I will savor because my only strain going right now is C.B.) and 3/4oz of Crimea Blue.
I will post a full smoke report in a couple weeks or so.
Pre-cure report;
Crimea Blue--DJ Short Blueberry x Ukraine hash plant--This strain is perfect for small spaces such as closets, will be perfect for Scrog grow
in near future. It grows fast, is vigorous and could have handled more nutes, but I woulld have burned the T-wreck. The buds are nice and dense with
alot of hairs.The smell is a powerful one, and yes it it 'piney' lol, no---it really IS piney! I live in Colorado, I know what pine smells like damn it! The smell is incredible, I would say 'outdoorsey'!
Trainwreck---M.C.A.--Mexican x Colombian x Afgani--This plant was not very suitable for the closet, it grows long & lanky branches. One branch at the very bottom of the
plant had a cola at the top. It measured 27 inches long. The branches needed to be supported towards the end of flowering. I tried to trim leaves off
to let more light for all the buds, but the plant was out of control. It was stuffed in the closet so it did'nt have the room to grow. Still, it produced 3.5oz. The calyx formatoin is pretty cool, they are huge with no particular formation. They grow any which way, mutant--deformed----ya know! The buds are ridiculously sticky, especially when compared to C.B. They are small and airy, but there is alot of them! The trich formation is truly incredible. As for smell, there is really nothing special or notable. I would be happy as a buyer, if I bought a bag that is.
