FFS... First of all, I have no problems admitting anything I don't know. Second of all, you seem to be proclaiming your speaking of the science behind it while ignoring the actual science behind it. Curing, when done correctly, can make a very noticeable difference in the flavor and smoothness of the smoke, whether you want to admit that or not. Do even understand what is actually going on during the curing process? Because you seem very ignorant to what curing does when you keep bringing up the humidity. Keeping the humidity in range during curing has nothing to do with the dryness of the bud and everything to do with keeping the environment in the jar at a range that is best for the bacteria in the jar, which continues to break down chlorophyll, while also being in a range that helps prevent the growth of mold and mildew. The purpose behind burping the jars more about letting oxygen back into the jars for the bacteria, more than keeping the humidity stable, which is why opening them daily is still recommended even when using humidity regulating packets. The curing process also breaks down some of the THC (gasp!) and converts it to CBN which many people prefer over a racy high THC high. Ed Rosenthal and other long time respected growers cure their weed so I guess they are noobs, too?
BTW, the reason I brought up the fact that you don't post any of your own grows is because that, along with being very opinionated and critical of other peoples grows, is often a sign of someone who is afraid of being criticized for their own shortcomings.
