Hello everyone,

so i have this problem. Im at week 3 of flowering and the main colas of my 2 plants are touching the 250w hps reflector. I can see some signs of light burning on the top of the plants. What should i do? cut the main colas so the plants have some room or just leave it there?

thanks

Not around the light, under it......think of a open upside down umbrella. Was it topped? Pics would help. Flip to 12/12 earlier next time.

no mate the first thing i did was to move the light higher.. also no option to move them in a different spot.. im thinking to put the pot in a slight angle so it goes diagonally instead of bending..
I've done that.....watering can be a bitch.

I once decided to cut the top of my tent so I could lift the light higher through the hole. I've also switched lights from HPS to a lower profile quantum board mid flower to gain those few inches. In reality you have to decide whats best for your space and conditions, bending the tops is the best option in most cases.
