SOLO CUP CHALLENGE

Main thing this is for fun this time around doesn't matter when this solo was started we will all finish at different times. Next time rules will be more strict and for possible prize. Pic of container should be submitted by june20 as to not have any extra large pots used.

I’m going to throw in the suggestion of a “final flip by date”, Which would help keep everyone finishing in/around the same time mid sept more likely than just a suggested end month period. In summary, “everyone flips at latest by July “__”?

Just thinking...I forget how long things are vegging all the time, and with quarantine, I dont always know the date(month) it currently is, much less keep track of 9-11 weeks out, a couple months from discussions about it, for solo cup sized friends anyway, lol.

It's so funny because I just bought a bunch of hens and chicks.

I don't know much but it looks like you might be having some leaf burning. From what I remember it might be nitrogen.
I give 0 fucks other then if it dies lol theres a grow journal on this monster if you are curious in my sig

@Rckola

I can't guarantee mine will finish by mid sept, as I grow outside only and my stuff isn't ready for chop quite that early, possibly in the small container might finish early.

Strain: GSC cross or Platinum OG Kush cross.

Breeder: from my grow last year. I didn't breed seeds but got about 100 seeds from the pound I harvested last year. No clue what pollinated them. All seeds went in same container so it's the luck of the draw. First two I popped this year, one heavy indica and one looks about 50/50.

Substrait: organic soil. Not growing in solo cup but small nursery pot. Sewed seed two days ago, should pop by Wed hopefully.

LOL. TY. Was actually looking for a set start date from seed drop or clone cutting. Strictly in a solo cup or styrofoam equivalent. Limited node cuttings. Rules to keep it fair and fun is what I want. With some coordination this could be entertaining and more accessible when it is kept legit. Just a thought. Ain't SOG'd a solo cup in years. Peace all.
Don't think it is that much of a race to win, the biggest may not be the favorite in the end. A few pages back it was said an equivelent container is fine, someone asking about a square pot or something. You could take a large branch to clone and stick it in a cup but that would seem like getting a big jump on things. I doubt anyone will say too much but it would seem less of a challenge at the end of the day and while interesting may get passed by in the voting. I don't think there are set rules to win, just which one we like the best, honorable mentions might be a good idea.

If someone did a really cool bonsai plant in the time frame that would be interesting but I think the time is a little short. Now that I thought of it, that might be an option I will look at. I might be going out on a limb on my idea on this 'challenge', just thought it as a fun grow. Do we want to discuss winning now or just keep it as a popularity total, maybe a runner up also? Or we can say at the end why we like the particular grow and give a label why. Like you won the Rollitup 2020 Challenge Droopy Dick Looking Grow Category.

It should not be a winner thing. If you harvest a decent sack from a solo cup? You already won. Honestly curious as to a side by side comparison just to see how my style stacks up in a set environment with other growers.

I have a couple of different containers, both 16 oz.

Might even be harder to grow in a shallower pot than in a cup. I am even thinking of keeping a couple of Bonsai plants in veg as house plants just for fun. Never would have thought of it if it were not for this challenge.
