I have no idea. I didn’t plant the seed. One day I was outside weeding my garden and I noticed I had a pot plant growing. How did it plant itself?

The Immaculate Conception... That plant is our lord and savior... You better take care of it mary.I have no idea. I didn’t plant the seed. One day I was outside weeding my garden and I noticed I had a pot plant growing.
Nope, if that were the case the plant wouldnt really evolve as well... I think its called "stratification" in other seeds... When plants drop seeds they evolved to need an extended cold time... Thats why some seed packs (not cannabis) tell you to put them in the fridge for 40 days like rose seeds for example. It simulates winter. Then warmth / moisture "spring" will set off germination. This same thing can be seen if you've ever seeded a plant on purpose, and try sowing one of the freshly cut seeds.. Your germination rate will likely be bad because they need time.( not positive if cannabis needs the cold, I dont believe so... think it evolved in tropical...or at least temperate... I think most strains like that basically need time.. dont quote me on that though thats just what I thought, haven't read anything about it in a long time though... I do experience the cold thing and have looked into that for other vegetable and flower seeds that Ive grown.)Be honest. I think one outdoor plant may have hermied and then dropped seeds that I never noticed. But then again wouldn’t it have sprouted last year? I don’t know. But time to see if she provides a harvest. She is in shade. And quite small.
Start picking it up a little bit and get used to the weight... Then when its light enough and it looks thirsty then feed it. For outdoors you shouldnt really depend on like x gal every X days kind of schedule if dealing with rain and shit... Wait until they dry out while they're small enough you can do the weight thing.. But its good to have them dry out, promotes root growth by the plant looking for water, watch the difference in how high the leaves/growth tips are pointing... Youll notice throughout the day they'll reach toward the sky, settle down, reach up, and if you glance over every couple hours you can see it... When they are thirsty this action will slow down and they will be settled and pointing down.. This is kinda past the point you want to get to but you get my point hopefully, when this action slows down and the pot is light, or they just look "thirsty" (you'll develop a sense of this and know what to look for as you grow more) then you can feed... Track how much rain they've been getting as well, because sometime it might rain perfectly and you dont have to water this week. Sorry for rambling, but check out a time lapse video of a plant growing and you can see it more clearly because its sped up. Remember the plants do this naturally when coming and going to and from their dark period...The plants will look to be sleeping because they are drooped over... Once the sun/light comes on they perk up... and throughout the day they will do this slow dance raising and lowering their "arms" or leaves and if you have a plant that is thirsty this action will slow to a halt, and the plants will look like they are getting ready to "sleep" like you see outdoor plants droop over at dusk every night from the sunset. Just dont confuse that night time or whatever as being thirsty... Just keep track of when and how much you watered... and when and how long it rained/how much.Transplant looking good! First grow, does anyone know how much water I should put in this 7gal?? I just put 2 water bottles in both pots. Good?

very interesting. Yeah it’s my only outdoor. Gonna see if I can get bud from it. I had big plants last year. But was difficult to dry such big plants with an indoor harvest occurring as well.Nope, if that were the case the plant wouldnt really evolve as well... That is most likely what happened... I wouldnt be surprised if there were a bunch more... that either got weeded, eaten, or may even pop up now so keep your eyes peeled. I wouldn't spend much money on that plant though, and you should really keep a close eye on every node/bud site throughout the entire grow if you take care of any other plants, because it may have better chance to become a herm itself if it did come from that plant your talking about, You may have random pollen sack on just one branch and not know it released its pollen either in the wind or on your shirt/knuckle/arm hair or some shit like that. So keep that in mind.
EDIT: Called "cold stratification" actually. Heres a wiki link if anybody wants to read about it.
