What insect is this?

These are flying on and off my plant...not a ton but enough. They are about a half inch long..what are they? Can they cause damage? They dont seem to be eating anything but I'm worried about eggs and future damage

Great thank you. Looks like Neem oil or spinosad is what I need to kill those

Neem oil is my GO TO for all... ive KILLED EVERYTHING with it!!! lol.. Finally learned to just spray once a week (except for after wk 4 of flwr) and nothing will ever pop up on me. Good organic solution.

Yes agreed wi above, cold pressed neem oil will solve a lot of canna bug problems.
