Indoor tent size for flowering (hydro): 3x4 or 4x4?

Greetings friends. Trying to decide between a 3x3 or 3x4 or 4x4 for an indoor grow tent; primarily use for flowering. I am running DWC hydro set ups. Any thoughts? If I got the 3x3 or 3x4, you think I would want the 4x4 for more size, after a few grows anyways? Please and thanks. :)

Depends on how much you have to spend. A 4x4 requires close to double the amount of lighting of a 3x3.
That is a good question that i need to be asking myself. I guess i would be o.k. spending the money to adequately light the 4 x 4. I will be using an assortment of timber grow lights; daisies and fixtures for both veg and flowering. i have read that 4x4's are roughly good for flowering 4-6 plants and 3x3's are good for roughly fowering 3-4 plants. I am guessing this is influenced by hydro set-up, skill, strain, and experience as well. This is kind of what I am trying to process. I don't want to get too big of a tent, but not too small of a tent either. Both seem to be a good sizes. I guess, if I can harvest enough from a 3x3 to meet my needs, that would not be bad either. Any info to help process would be great, friend. Please and thanks.

Sounds like you can afford to start with quality lights so I would go with the 4x4.

If you haven’t had a tent, then a 4x4 will seem big at first, but it’s a very comfortable size to work with. I started out with a 32” x 32”, but that is so tiny compared to my 4x4, that I just use that more as a nursery for seed starting and also for dying. I’ve done 6 plants in my 4x4 but I personally prefer to stick with 4 and just veg them longer. Some people go the other way, use smaller pots with a short veg period, and will put 9 or more in a 4x4.
