What? Years ago after I had already been growing for years I experimented with PGR's for a little while with a few experimental plants. I'm glad I did because now I have a basic understanding on what they do and first hand experience with the effects of different PGR's. I don' t use them today for growing cannabis and never used them for anything other than out of curiosity.

Maybe you didn't mean to reply to me? Because your post sounds like something I could have written.

Imo/e, if you’re not over feeding, plants flush themselves end of cycle, so when you chop it really doesn’t matter for much except preference. Unless you’re nuking the plants all the way through, you aren’t smoking the nutes and most genetics will be in the same ballpark.

media type has a bigger influence on flavor profile, etc ime than nutrient type, brand, or system outside true organics. They taste different, and it doesn’t compliment everything, but kills for some strains.

Exactly, the shit grows on the side of the road.. If you can't figure out how to feed a plant according to the hundreds of feeding charts available and diagnose leaf issues from the many charts available, you shouldn't be growing or at least do some heavy research before proceeding. Guys act like you have to be a mega scientist to know how to grow. Most people ask questions because they are too lazy to look for the answer... Peace.

You better watch saying that too, because I know for a fact that one guy on here swears up and down that you don't have to flush your plants XD That your plants don't get rid of excess nutrients and that you can smoke them with no problems.

I find this topic interesting, "PGR". First time hearing and reading about it. Few weeks ago, I got a half oz of purple kush. Bag smelled like shit (Hay smell and gasoline.) I smoke a whole joint, no effects. Ok whatever, I take three rips from bong...nothing..6 rips...nothing. I have never smoked such bad bud in my life. No high, nastiest taste, I was literally gagging from it. First time EVER throwing a bag out. Main reason I am now doing my own thing now. I've been trying to figure out what the grower did wrong. Reading about this leads me to believe that this may have been the problem for whoever grew it. Thanks for all the info fellas! I know what not to do.

I mean if your going to argue at least have the knowledge and experience to back it up. I’ve grown both ways and you haven’t tryed the stuff your arguing about you’ve just read about it. It’s a controversial subject and I can almost guarantee you eat eat PGRs without knowing.

Ok one mistake compared to the mountain of stupid shit you said. Doesn't matter, you grow with PGR's which are known to cause cancer. Have fun with tumor lung.

Hay smell is usually the sign of PGR bud (Also could be improperly drying) , that and really dense/red haired buds. People that don't know any better think they got some really good fire when it is garbage.

They also do a million other things like cloning from mothers, having sterile grow rooms, having air filtration, etc. Your average grower doesn't have to do all of that.

Ok and is your method of growing used in the industry? Because just about every large grow up flushes their plants for 1-2 weeks before harvesting. But hey, to each his own. If you like smoking super nutrient rich bud, have at it :D
