Ive got a cunt hair over 90 inches to work with. I need a 5x5 tent that is as close to 90 inches as possible (even if its a full 90 inches, ill make it fit, im good with fitting big things in small spaces). What can you guys come up with other than the Gorilla?

Even this one has 86.75" and 92.52'' in its description.......... one would work as is and one i COULD make work. But out of stock.... I need to maximize my height. Im running a 1000w HPS in a sun systems air cooled DE fixture. I need max height and im really seeing that comparing my first experimental photoperiod grow to my last autoflower grow. This light needs to be up high to get even spread.

This one is 84" with a 12" extension and uses the same 1680d canvas as Gorilla. Probably wouldn't be hard to modify the extension to make it shorter.

I just moved a couple des into a 5x9 and I’ve gotta say, it’s still not enough height. They really do best over 10’ up. If youve got tables or anything that raises your plants, more is needed. Not saying it can’t be done, I just am probably going to have to run about 1k watts of cooling in a room where ac is unnecessary without the tent(15’ ceilings).

im debating on cutting the top out of the tent. I sort of remember a company that made a tent you could extend the height if needed. Don’t remember who made it though and, if I remember correctly, it was crazy expensive comparably.

That one likely comes out the same factory as Gorilla. I dont like the 3 separate zippers (i have a gorilla 3x3) but the idea of modifying it to be a 6'' extension gave me a stiffy. I find my Vivosun 5x5 to be far more practical than the Gorilla.

I like the look of this joint

Gorilla makes the extended height tents. I dont like their design. There are 5 separate zippers to open the fucking doors. My light is an air cooled double end, not an open fixture. My girls are in organic soil on the ground. If i could just get an extra 8'' from the vivosun i have i think that would get the job done.

Yeah the difference between 7.5 and 9’ is massive with light and volume. lol.

even going from 79-89'' is a massive difference. The pots and canopy are going to take up the same amount of space no matter what. Going from 30'' to 40'' of space from canopy to light is a MAJOR increase.

Inverse square law, yeah? Also heat management based on the increased volume is a game changer.
